I am a long time investor in Tesla, and a new Cybertruck owner. My wifes 2018 Ford Flex is on its last leg and we are in the market for a new vehicle for her. I am trying to convince her of all of the benefits of a Tesla model Y with FSD. She is very hesitant to get away from what she knows and gasoline. I am looking for any recommended videos, links, websites that are good sales pieces for the Tesla model Y, or Tesla safety and innovation in general with the goal of convincing my wife that the Tesla vehicle is the future, and the safest most cost efficient vehicle on the market today.

She refuses to drive the cybertruck for unknown reasons. We have been on a 6 hour road trip in the cybertruck and she has seen it FSD the entire way. She has also seen how quickly and easy it is to charge mid trip on a supercharger. I think she is coming around, but I really would like to share links, videos, and articles about the benefits of ownership with her to get her to commit.

So, you’re asking for sales advice, not marital advice but unsolicited, the harder you try here, the worse the outcome will be. See if you can talk her into an overnight test drive from Tesla but I’d do very little else. Especially not bombard her with internet material recommended by strangers. The model Y sells itself compared to an old flex so if you can get her to actually try it in her day to day life, she will almost certainly like it.

Test drives and just having a some peaceful dialogue would help...Lot of good responses here. You could also use fear and intimidation? The options are endless. Pros and cons to each of them.

Are you able to charge overnight at home? Does she frequently exceed the daily range the Y would provide? For my wife, the #1 advantage of the Model Y was never having to go to the gas station again. It isn't trading gas station trips for charging stops, it's removing fueling stops from the equation for 99% of her usage.

My wife has no interest in FSD, the Y wouldn't even have it if I hadn't transferred it from my Model X.

Same here, doesn't trust FSD at all. My biggest win over my significant other was the no fuel stops for daily commute, she absolutely dreads having to fuel, so once she found out she never had to.. Winning

Not another "convincing my wife" thread. There are too many in this forum. Pick one of a CT thread and change it Model Y. Problem solve. (y)

I agree with the others, ask her to just do you a favor - take it for a 24 hr test drive and actually use it, it will sell it self. My wife was exactly the same way. She didn't see any buttons and the minimal interior and thumbed her nose at it. Now she fights me constantly for the Y (which I use as a daily) and mysterious scented lotions and wet wipes are in my door, hair ties all over. It's like when you first start dating a girl and she leaves her toothbrush in your bathroom to mark her territory.

"Help me sell my wife on a Tesla Model Y"

A thought: instead of selling her on the Model Y you could just sell her and keep the car. :- )

Real world data for a 2021 Tesla Model Y driven in upstate New York, we own a 2021 Tesla Long Range AWD model Y with over 69,000 miles (300 mile battery pack) on it to date and being the electrical engineer that I am, I keep track of just about every electron in and out of our house (Emporia monitor installed). This Tesla used to be for two years or so driven Monday through Friday one hour commute each way racking up 120 miles round trip to and from work and I keep records daily of electric usage and billing, which follows; takes roughly 5-6 hours to recharge (NEMA 14-50 plug, draws 32 Amps max) scheduled during wee hours of each night eating up 45 kWh of juice, at $.12/kWh, costs $5.00 to charge. You can charge on a regular 110 volt outlet but it would take roughly 9 hours to charge back those 120 miles every night. Charge rate is set to 80%, resulting in roughly 262 miles showing at 80% charge and ending up in the 80-90 mile range at the end of the 120 mile commute. So relax folks, we drive it where ever we need to go, then plug it in at home and rarely supercharge on the road. Tesla has plenty of super charging sites all over the place for those 300 mile trips. What is really nice is the maintenance (really no maintenance), windshield washing fluid every once and tires in a while is it.

Also we own a 2024 CyberBeast that my wife doesn't drive for she has her Model Y.
For us CT owners up here in upstate New York, where there are few CTs driving around, I have to schedule at least an extra half an hour for any local trips around here to answer all of the questions I get about "what the heaven are you driving". So I decided to list them on a card that I give out if I'm in a hurry, here it is:
Cybertruck 30 minute dissertation short form;
My 7th and last truck (previous daily drivers, all 4x4 Toyotas starting with the 1979 SR5, last Tundra, a 2014 had 220,000 miles on it), love this beast, is the future, all electric, lightning quick (0-60 2.6 sec), steer by wire progressive steering (full left to right lock 340°), 4 wheel steering (really tight turns), air suspension (17" high setting clearance), regenerative breaking (rarely use breaks), 48 volt low voltage (really small wiring harnesses), Etherloop communication, heavy duty stainless steel body, almost NO maintenance (Tires, wiper blades & fluid is about it), over the air updates, and most importantly gas pickup $60 to drive 250 miles, Cybertruck $19-$22 electricity (400 wH/mile x 250 miles at $.19-$.22/kWh) to drive 250 miles, full slow charge at home 5 hours, full fast charge at supercharger 45 minutes, and Tesla is 10-15 years ahead of everyone else.

I'm never going back to gas..........................................
