Honestly if she’s been around CT for a while and has seen FSD, I doubt the Y will wow her. Unless she sees value in the hands free trunk and auto folding seats.

I am a long time investor in Tesla, and a new Cybertruck owner. My wifes 2018 Ford Flex is on its last leg and we are in the market for a new vehicle for her. I am trying to convince her of all of the benefits of a Tesla model Y with FSD. She is very hesitant to get away from what she knows and gasoline. I am looking for any recommended videos, links, websites that are good sales pieces for the Tesla model Y, or Tesla safety and innovation in general with the goal of convincing my wife that the Tesla vehicle is the future, and the safest most cost efficient vehicle on the market today.

She refuses to drive the cybertruck for unknown reasons. We have been on a 6 hour road trip in the cybertruck and she has seen it FSD the entire way. She has also seen how quickly and easy it is to charge mid trip on a supercharger. I think she is coming around, but I really would like to share links, videos, and articles about the benefits of ownership with her to get her to commit.

Go to your nearest showroom and ask them how much to rent it for a week for her to drive one of the loaners around. If you go while they are slow/bored, they may just hand you the keycard and say "have fun".

Sounds like she’s afraid of change, so that’ll make it much more difficult. One thing could be is: just take it slow and take your truck anytime you’re driving together, especially road trips. Don’t sell her on anything. Maybe she’ll slowly realize Supercharging is so fast (and plentiful) that it’s a non issue.

Have a dog? Show her dog mode. My wife isn’t afraid of change but when she found out about dog mode, she wanted a Tesla. During the 1st year I had my Y (2020), we were doing a lot of day trips to NH, VT, ME to go hiking with our dogs. After the 3rd or 4th supercharger stop, she said charging was so fast she couldn’t even pee and get a coffee before it was done. Now, she wasn’t concerned about charging but I think it did help her realize how fast and easy it is. She ended up buying a 3 a year later (2021) then traded that in for a 2024 3 last year and bought FSD. She was never into FSD but uses it 90% of the time.
