  1. AC Charging unavailable

Tag Wes/Elon on X and raise the issue. Don't be a karen about it but mentioning it will help get attention on it. $6000 is a lot of money to have to fork out for this after already paying 80-100k for a truck. Even if its free under warranty, I don't think anyone wants to head out on a road trip...
  2. Latest FSD Driving me nuts not going the speed limit

I haven't experienced FSD riding anyone's ass tbh but what does drive me nuts is the continued sluggishness, it not updating its speed holds when the speed limit changes (stays 45 when its now in a 55 / a nudge fixes it every time), and general ridiculous mapping.
  3. FSD v14.2.2.4 (Update 2025.45.9) happening now

Anyone else seeing U-turns completely break these past few patches? I have 3 separate u-turns that get mapped and it just turns into the side street rather than following the mapping. Come to think of it, it hasn't completed a U-turn yet.
  4. What automations will you create?

The only acceptable answer is "When FSD is enabled, turn auto-wiper off" I owe many beers to whoever has to listen to my voice notes for disengagements. me: disengage for mapping reengage after correction Dry wipes going crazy... I hit voice command instinctively "wiper off" I see its...
  5. FSD v14.2.2.2 (Update 2025.45.7) now installing - Release Notes Added

I didn't see any change in consistency of this for the last 2-3 updates.
  6. FSD v14.2.2.2 (Update 2025.45.7) now installing - Release Notes Added

I'm not sure it is actually "learning". I'm honestly not sure what is going on. The way mine parks is completely inconsistent. Context: I have an L shaped driveway with the offshoot being under a carport. The CT has actually successfully parked in the carport for close to a year now. In the...
  7. FSD 14.2 backed my Cybertruck into the driveway for the first time

Parking has been worse for me and I haven't been able to get it to back in to my driveway other than one time with 14.1.7. Also, I did usual test of mine where I just ping pong from business to business to test the parking. If the next hop was within ~500-600 ft (within the same shopping center...
  8. 14.1.7 Fog / Clean camera warning issues

Should have been more clear about it but I'm familiar with the system and what FSD is. It's the sensitivity that has gone up considerably. And I'm not just talking about FSD being "degraded for poor weather". I'm talking about a full on "take over immediately" situation that i'm seeing early...
  9. 14.1.7 Fog / Clean camera warning issues

Anyone having issues with light fog sending the truck into a temper tantrum? It's been really bad. Cameras are clean, but feels like the detection software for camera cleanliness is ultra sensitive. Will have to test it through rain as well but hasn't rained since I got it.
  10. Less control on FSD v14

I don't know what to think of these profiles. Sometimes it'll sit in the fast lane on standard going exactly 55 in a 55, yet another day on the same stretch it will go 60. Yesterday it sat at 50 in the fast lane and wouldn't budge. In either case it will usually sit in the fast lane regardless...
  11. FSD v14.1.7 Parking thoughts

Yea i tested a supercharger once and it backed up close enough. It did for Chuck in one of his videos too IIRC. I wish I got a picture but just got back from lowes and out of ~50% of the spots open, it chose one next to the cart return where one of the carts was a good 6-8" into the parking...
  12. How to set up Homelink?

This is where carplay MIGHT help. I think you can use Apple shortcuts with it and there are plenty of homekit compatible garage door openers iirc.
  13. Lower Center Console Review, Wow, Transformation Useful Space

I haven't seen anything that really wowd me. I'm probably holding out for level 4 self driving where hopefully someone will design some sort of stowable tray table similar to what the older airlines had that fit in the arm rest. A unfolding desk/arm for a laptop of some sorts that could stow...
  14. Apple CarPlay coming to Tesla as soon as end of year!

One thing that would be useful is siri shortcuts. I still use my phone to unlock my door as im pulling in. I don't have a garage but there are quite a few homekit/automation enabled garage door openers out there as well. Even with carplay added I doubt itll be as seem less and easy as running...
  15. , V14.1.7 FSD - driveway parking

It's a wash for me. I have an L shaped driveway that leads into a carport. V13 would actually turn into the driveway and turn right into the carport before stopping. Now with v14, the one time I've let it try, it backed in a bit crooked and ignored the carport aka treated it as a normal...
  16. FSD v14.1.7 Parking thoughts

Curious of your experiences with parking. I haven't tested curbside or parallel, only classic parking spots (diagonal or straight). I headed out last night for a good 30-45 mins... just choosing random businesses and driving from parking spot to parking spot. Got some very mixed results...
  17. FSD V14 pushed to some early access Cybertrucks (over weekend of 11/1)

When they say they are going to push for a timeframe, that'd for a small percent like Chuck lol. Once he gets it, add a week or so assuming they don't push additional minor changes in additional versions.
  18. Software versions

IIRC they stopped doing anything to push updates a looong time ago. Just gotta wait and make sure you select advanced for the software update. I think it took me ~a month to get the latest update after delivery.
