It's not a cybertruck, it's never been. It's the body of it. The Chasis if you will. It's the skeleton.

No wheels
No whiper
No bed cover

It's the skeleton.

So to be clear, I'm proposing to completely remove the roll up vault cover and replace it with a glass sliding roof that stows on top of the rear roof of the cabin. Like a backwards moving glass sunroof for the bed.

The midgate could then be folded without any issues with the vault cover, but it would still have the other problems withnit being flat etc.
Would be horrible as a work truck. Of course I have no experience with alon so maybe it wouldn't be horrible..

Seeing there's more than one photo from different angles i can use some software to generate a 3D point cloud to measure it exactly. I only get 4.2 times the length of the tote. Which picture are you using?
That trailor pump (looks like a trailor pump/concrete pump) sitting next to them is narrower than the ucb (unidentified cyber bodies). Typical construction trailored pumps are narrower than typical truck. The ucb sure look like cybertruck frames without the grille on the front... that grille added about 1.5 ft

I really don't think the midgate is A fake or B hard to accomplish.

Tonneau people..

*edit* the site didn't let me format, so janky screenshot of my "idea" here.

Center "line" is Tonneau, feeds into a larger track in top above midgate. Which tapers back to a regular size. Allowing flexibility in reseal of midgate.

Just spit balling. Not that wild to think they can do both.

I really couldn't care less about it being a boat. I think it's a novelty and not a true FEATURE. That midgate makes sense from Camping, loading, and security perspectives. Just saying.
I don’t either. I am fine with midgate and tonneau. Boat is way out there. Fording streams, yes.

Why would it be horrible as a work truck?
The glass would sit about 0.5" above the rear roof when opened. It would retain roof rack mounting points to the side and operate like the slatted vault cover to open and close, it just wouldn't roll down the midgate and limit the vault cover operation to only before or after dropping the midgate. You obviously could use it partially opened without blocking the midgate too.

Anyone have any more photos from different angles of the GA packages? The ones from this thread are not creating meaningful results to create a ortho to measure from. This is how close the picture locations are along the same axis.

Could you capture more angles from the drone footage?
