    V2G coming to Cybertruck soon

It doesn’t work for me with solar/generator either. So who DOES it work for?

[Update] FSD v14.2.2.4 Almost Hit a Girl Crossing Street (No it didn’t - Don’t rest your foot on accelerator)

It is interesting that FSD doesn’t always ask you why you disengaged. More often than not, but definitely not always. As an example, FSD thinks that I live in a church parking lot that is close to my house, and I always disengage when it tries to pull into the lot. In this scenario it doesn’t...

[Update] FSD v14.2.2.4 Almost Hit a Girl Crossing Street (No it didn’t - Don’t rest your foot on accelerator)

It seems to me that it is the majority of people that are 100% focused on their phones and a minority that are paying attention to the world, but that might just be me.

    Confused with charging AMPS

I am not an electrician but looked it up when my neighbor had his charging problem. At that time I read that residential service is single phase. Sorry for my ignorance.

    Confused with charging AMPS

We don’t have 208V. 240V. When you commission the WC you select the maximum charge amperage as 80% of the breaker. So with your 60A breaker it should let you select 48A as the maximum charge current. You can select the current in the app or car at or below that current. This is for a North...

    Confused with charging AMPS

Aren’t all non-commercial services in the U.S. single phase? My understanding is that chargers that are designed for 3-phase service get 2/3 the current (a neighbor told me happened to them). Maybe the something similar happens in reverse?

Rear tires wear out super fast on AWD Cybertruck, could it be FSD?

I have 30K on my original tires. I have taken 6 long distance trips where I used FSD 90+% of the time. It must be something else.

Excessive Tire Wear on Cybertruck Dual Motor

I follow that creed but do not recall (albeit it’s been 6 decades) that being a Boy Scout creed. You wouldn’t have a reference would you - out of curiosity.

Excessive Tire Wear on Cybertruck Dual Motor

I have almost 30,000 on the original tires (mid-2024 AWD). I use FSD on road trips and, occasionally, in town. When using FSD I go back and forth between Chill and Normal. My tires appear to have about 25% wear remaining.

FSD v14.2.2.2 (Update 2025.45.7) now installing - Release Notes Added

Mine keeps trying to pull into the parking lot of a church behind my house and there is no way to get from there to my house so FSD is definitely not getting that right (yet) :) :-)

Tesla’s 4680 battery supply chain collapses

All it means, if true, is that Tesla is getting cathode materials elsewhere. To stretch this information to 4680 production is an unreasonable prediction.

Is ASS dead for the CT?!?!

Better than most? Which one is it not better than?

Is ASS dead for the CT?!?!

I hear the frustration over Summon and ASS. It was promised and not delivered and that can be frustrating and annoying. That said, there are a lot of things missing or wrong with FSD that I would put in front of ASS and they are equally frustrating and annoying (and actually dangerous)...

[3D Print] Christmas - Rudolph Red Nose and Reindeer Antlers

What printer? I have a Bambulab H2S and the MakerWorld link Pops provided printed just fine. Re the dowels, is it that you cannot get them in at all or you cannot get them in all the way to the bottom? I wasn’t able to get them all the way in but it wasn’t needed. the problem I had is not...

Let's all let Tesla know we want option to set FSD max speed on the scroll wheel made available.

I have a conservative attitude about self-driving profiles. I think they should all be capped at 10% over the posted speed limit because anything above that could result in a ticket. If drivers want to go faster they should drop out of FSD. I know this would be an unpopular position since we...
