Would be interesting to see the pre-recall software updated lights compared to the fixed version. Since I now know about this update it does seem the parking lights (the white lights next to the headlights) are a fair amount dimmer than before. Not sure those lights even at full power could “blind” anyone but alright I guess rules are rules.

Well, my truck/reality proved me wrong (again). The frunk lightbar must be the parking lights because those are the only front facing lights active in Parking mode. The ambers are just side markers.

It'd be nice if the light will automatically adjust its brightness based on factors like weather, outside light level, time of the day, surrounding traffic, etc., etc.

Yeah, me to.
However, the regulations allows white or amber in the front and there are no front facing ambers when parked.
Turn signals are amber, but are only on when flashing.

I’m guessing this Recall was in one of the latest updates as the last few times I’ve used the Parking Light mode, I questioned myself if the lightbar was even on when it was Dusk out. Sucks

Yep, it was in 2025.38.3

If you put the truck in drive, don't the directional lights come on white until you put on the directionals and then they alternate between white and amber? I think it's those lights that this "recall" effected.
