This is really one of the best options I have seen

I can’t say I love it, but for $200 out of the box, it’s a nice option. I believe @Cybergirl came up with a nice solution. I just can’t seem to find the original thread

I made some 3D printed ones. I took someone on here who had the design and modified it into a bolt-able one piece. I’m going to share the STL soon just been cleaning it up and testing durability.

This was my first iteration. The new one looks better, I just haven't taken any photos of it yet. Also I covered it with a piece of PPF so it matches the truck perfectly .

Yeah. Super limited run of them because they only had one door to work with.

Is 10-15% really realistic for a mirror delete or are those just Elon numbers?

Someone did a wind tunnel test and the difference was within the margin of error a CD from .387 to .382. I dont know enough about drag to understand how much of an improvement that is.

I removed my mirrors and the product OP listed is very tempting, but they are not needed and wouldnt solve the biggest issue with a mirror delete (see below). I just filled mine with the CYBERTRUCKco aluminum placeholders.

What I can tell you after driving without mirrors for 8 months now.
  • GOOD: With the cameras you can have 0 blind spots. If the rear camera is set to 0.5x zoom, you will see the same car (its rear end) behind you in the camera and to your side window at the same time (its hood).
  • GOOD: The side cameras have better visibility at night than the mirrors. In mirrors you only see lights, in the camera you see objects.
  • ANNOYING: If you turn on the cameras to your center screen, some actions remove it and put it back to the GPS map.
  • BAD: When you have the turn signal on, there is no rear view camera. This matters if you are going to make a turn:
    • You can no longer see if someone is barreling towards you and are not going to stop.
    • No visibility of emergency vehicles behind you.
    • If someone honks, you might have no clue who or why

Yes. But they had some issues with them coming apart bonding process wasn’t perfected in the early examples. But I believe they took responsibility right away and made those people hole. I’ve never installed mine just wanted to secure them since they were such a limited quantity and the source material for HFC is pretty limited.

They made those people hole? You’re freaking hilarious man. That’s pure wit.
Hat off to you counselor.

sorry but if you don’t mind, can you clarify what was wrong with the steel cutouts they sold us? I haven’t installed mine yet either but confused on what the issue is.
Thanks so much

I think it was just a flush mounted blanking plate, nothing with a mirror from what I remember.

These look kind of ghetto to me, I'd either leave the mirrors or go with the blank to fill the hole. This looks like a dollar store glass mirror glued to a piece of plastic. I don't know what you guys have against the side mirrors anyway?
