Had this happen on my model S. Leaving keystone, very cold, preheated, window hot. A bit of snow on the hood blew up when I started driving and the temperature shock cracked the window.
If you go with the LIN signal solution, instead of killing the power, just intercept the ”wipe” signal, and return a “success”. Then you could program it to ignore any “single wipe commands, but still work when holding the wipe button or setting it to anything but auto.
I’ve never checked, but would 8% be too bright for DRLs? what I would really love is a film to defuse the light, so it looks more like the actual DRL.
Illegal or wrong? Those are different, if you aren't blinding oncoming traffic a police officer shouldn't have a problem with it. Always play ignorant if you get caught. "Sorry I didn't know it was on, or illegal) I drive with my off-road light bar all the time, I keep it at 1% brightness. I...

That should just install the shortcut for you. You'll need to select your Vehicle when it opens(If you only have one Tesla it might not need to be selected.)
Then tap the share button at the bottom, and tap "Add to Home Screen"...
If you are on an iPhone, and I’m sure Android has something similar. You can create a shortcut, that turns on preconditioning. This will warm the batteries, and get the cabin ready. For some reason this option isn’t available in the Tesla app, you can only get it as a shortcut. I have a...

Most likely it was “clicked” in during assembly. Just enough to make connection, and pass all the tests, and the rubber seal on the connector probably held it in place for a long time until it slowly shook loose.
Can’t tell if you’re being serious or not, but in the CyberBeast you put it in beast mode and do a 0 to 60 run under 3 seconds. At a certified drag strip of course.
There is a lot of wasted energy converting 110 to dc, not only that, the trucks power is already DC. So you have DC -> AC -> DC. Lot of wasted energy in each step. not that it makes much difference with 100+kwh battery.
I need to know exactly what data they are getting from me. If it’s just FSD % and miles driven, fine. But driving habits, launches, location, speed, etc, is a deal breaker.
Here was my solution, but I'm working a better solution, still planning things out, was planning on using an iPad mini as the mirror, but I've found 4k ultra wide displays that might work. I'll make a post once I figure it all out.
Can you choose the images for the crossfade(animated is a bit of a stretch)? This is pretty cool, would love to see cyberbeast heads crossfade to CT outline.
