After loading the holiday software update my FSD no longer works despite reboots and power off and dr8ving and I have tried button on steering wheel and tapping screen and nothing makes FSD engage. I checked in menu and FSD is selected. Anyone else had this happen?

Do you suggest holding off? I have it scheduled to install tonight at 2am.

Same issue as me. I posted in the other holiday update thread showing my experience after the update. FSD no longer working. Also the car goes to sleep after I enter and close the door. Poking around the service menu I found the drivers seat sensor isn’t working. This makes sense why the car goes to sleep after getting in - the car thinks it is empty and goes to sleep.

Definitely seems like a bug for multiple cars so at least we are not alone. I have a service appointment after the new year but hopefully they will release another update to fix the issue

Not knowing about these issues I drove to an appointment this afternoon and used FSD there and back and nothing failed or stopped working - for what it’s worth. Sadly there were no improvements either.

Yes I have the same go to sleep issue as well, I thought I was going crazy. :) I have a service appointment scheduled for next Monday if they don't release a fix before then. You'd think FSD not working might be something Tesla would notice during their testing...

It happened before on my Juniper after an update and going in the service menu and resetting DAS fixed it. I didn't have the sleeping issue though. Mine was all the cameras weren't working. Might be worth a try.

Tried that and didn’t work. Also tried multiple resets with the steering wheels buttons snd powering down for a few minute. Unfortunately this seems like it is only going be fixed with another update

Yeah, I did the holiday update and everything worked at first. Then I put the truck in car wash mode and as soon as I did I got a warning the charge cable was still inserted and the Hvbatt was disconnected. Can’t open the charge port now and no fsd either. Next service appointment is 22 days away until I have it towed 5 hours away, then it’s up to me to get it back. Hoping they can just push a firmware update and fix it

My first drive after the update my FSD wouldn't engage as well...was greyed out. A simple double press on the steering wheel and the reset fixed things. It just took a few minutes after start up to recalibrate the cameras and it's been fine ever since. Sucks that didn't work for you. Maybe try going into service and manually hitting the recalibrate cameras?

May need a service request asking them to reinstall the firmware; I suspect a module or two got stuck during the update.

background context: a whole bunch of subsystems update, and sometimes the flashing process isn't successful for some of them. the truck attempts to reboot the modules after a back-off period. this is also why Tesla doesn't just blast updates fleet wide; they stick to a safer, more methodical rollout to uncover potential issues.

Installed v14.2.1.25 last night and FSD and Park Assist not working. Tried all the reboot fixes with no success. New software update just came through. We'll see if it fixes the issue.

I have had no issues with FSD since the update, I hve only used it 3 times for a total of 10 miles so it is limited, but all city commute driving. And I love some of the new features….HOV features and phone left behind are nice additionals….
