Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

OK I ordered some in anticipation of needing them. Here is what I am seeing when I click on that location you spoke of, is this correct?

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

So then no need to tap in at center console and run a wire over bur rather tap in at the connector in the footwell? I will go look for it. Which taps did you order?

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

Did you get a chance to check this location yet? My garage has been an ice box so I have not had a chance to test yet. If this location works I was thinking of running wires to the passenger footwell and installing a fuse block there with attachment points for all the accessory wires that will...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

LED puddle lights are not usually 12v but something less. @YukonJack may be on to something here, need to test the signal at those wires/connector.

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

If I am reading the schematic you linked correctly then there is a connector - X0879 which has a male and female fitting, pin 1 would be a red wire and pin 2 would be a brown wire representing 12v DC positive and negative/ground respectively, is that what you are seeing? Do you know if those...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

That would be a drag to suddenly have your mirror and radar detector and other accessories go offline when the battery reaches 20%. What are your thoughts on the other 2 locations? Is the footwell location the one we already know about where 3rd parties are currently tapping in or is it...

If you’ve thought about mixing and matching puddle lights (RPM Tesla lighting vs OEM vs Tesstudio review w/ photos)

I have tried many puddle lights on my 3 and a few on my Cybertruck over the years. Most work just fine and most are brighter than stock, so hard to go wrong no matter what you choose. That being said, I've had some that had multiple failures from the same supplier listed here previously but...

If I do this install as well I will shoot video and write up an article. I guess I need to start by ordering the parts. :)

Tesla Winter Tire & Wheel Package Review

Like many around the country, we are getting hit with frigid subzero temperatures and snow. Since I had a heads up that the storm was coming I decided to mount my Tesla Winter Tire & Wheel package that I got from Tesla last summer. (There is a thread about it elsewhere in this forum so I won't...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

Thank you. Yes I saw where you tapped through to get the plug into the center console and then the wires coming from the plug to the convertor, I was more wondering about the wires coming from the convertor to the rear view mirror and/or other accessories. I suspected that perhaps you ran in...

Aftermarket Video Rear Mirror -- suggestions / advice?

https://halocybertruck.com/article-list/f/cybertruck-digital-rearview-mirror-from-hansshow-v2 I concur that it would be great to have the mirror tapped into somewhere else for power and I am looking at alternatives as I am not sure Hansshow is going to release a different harness any time soon.

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

I've reviewed this and first thing to say is "Good Job" in finding a solution that works for you. Looking at how you've created this my biggest question is getting power from the center console down below where the convertor is to the passenger footwell where the harnesses are for various items...

Audio system unavailable message after installing front light bar

Well I guess you can give it some time then and see if that error goes away. Can you go into service mode and run the speaker test and see if you have sound coming out of that speaker in the pillar that I showed in my other video that gets cut off by some aftermarket harnesses?

Audio system unavailable message after installing front light bar

Yeah those specs in that chart are for some roof mounted light bar in an aluminum shell with it looks like 82 individual elements. I agree their website can be confusing. Is this lightbar the only thing plugged into the passenger footwell or do you have other aftermarket items plugged in there...

Audio system unavailable message after installing front light bar

That's not correct. If you bought the front light bar, meaning the LED strip that goes in between the headlights and replaces the black strip that is normally there, then that LED strip is powered by 12v that is tapped in at the passenger side footwell connection, and if you got an older...

Audio system unavailable message after installing front light bar

FYI it works again after a recent update, it no longer interferes with FSD / seat sensor so you can reinstall and it should work again for you. (it works for me and a few others that have posted here)

Wolfbox: Knowledge on Hardwire Kit and Installation [Part 3 Video]

Ummmm the Cybertruck does not have a fuse box or fuses. The Cybertruck also has a 48v system, not 12v (although 12v is available in some locations within the truck)
