Thank you for the responses. I feel your pain. Yet feel better knowing I am not the only one hearing the morse code. This is what was written by service. I would be surprised if this has not been solved on the 2025 trucks.
Below is what service wrote.

Well, if something does go wrong, hold onto that - warranty repairs are legally the date you reported, not the date they accepted there was trouble.

Yup and it’s very annoying. SC tells me it’s the inverter.
Inverters can make a slight whine, but the pulsing sound is obviously typical gear whine, in your case the Service Center folks are simply wrong. I love the gear sounds, but then I've been driving heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions since I was 17 years old.

Maybe you should sell the Cybertruck and buy a truck with an automatic transmission if you get annoyed by this.

Mine does this and every other one I've ridden in does this. Mine is a little more consistent in its chirp, and is much less noticeable when I'm using FSD. SC told me its normal as well. If something goes wrong, that's what the warranty is for.

I think its so unnerving because the car is normally so quiet except when I'd expect under load (accelerating or regen). To me. that sound is a very pleasing aggressive electric motor sound...When I'm barely accelerating or decelerating and basically maintaining speed at 35 is when I hear it most.

When its really cold and all the heat pumps are doing their weird thing, then all bets are off regarding how quiet it is :)

I've driven manuals my whole life (and I still have a car with a manual transmission) and haven't heard a pulsing sound at such a high frequency, maybe if I'm downshifting (again, under load). My experience isn't with anything heavy duty like a truck, so will take your word for it that its common. Maybe its the frequency -- I originally thought it was noise in the audio system vs a heavy gear like sound. If it were lower in pitch maybe i wouldn't have noticed it.

So, in the end, I don't disagree with your assessment at all -- but why don't they all do it then? I think if everyone said, "Yup they all do that", then no one would really care. (Props to OldDirtyRobot, who snuck in a reply to confirm that maybe most of them do it :) )

...and lastly, while the "chirping" is annoying, its still by far the most fun car I've ever driven - so not trading it for anything.

When I had my wiper recall done, the SC checked out the sound. The tech and I rode in a new AWD to compare. Its sounded nearly identical.

I'm curious if the Cyberbeast make this noise as well. Both versions have a permanent magnet synchronous motor in the front or rear, depending on the model, but there is a slight difference based on some of the spec sheets I've seen. (222kW on the AWD, and 212kW on the CB). If anyone is curious, the motor and gearing in questions is pictured below.

I am about to leave the office, I will check. We all clearly hear the whine of the motors which is to be expected and honestly is kinda cool. Chirping though? I don't recall that....I'll report back soon.

Gear whine chirping10-40MPH

Does your truck make this noise?
I am told this is normal.

See video (sound on)

It sounds like it may be related to the sound Im hearing with my truck. My case supposedly has been escalated to the engineering department..you may want to post your issue on the other thread also… the more cases we document the faster we may see a fix..

They had my truck for a couple days..but the beeping never occured when they test drove it..it doesn't happen on every ride. Does yours?

I've been to both Tempe and the Scottsdale locations here in Arizona. Please complain again if it happens to you again..the more people complain, the more likely they will have a fix.

Here is what the service manager at Scottsdale sent me..

"Thank you! We’re all still scratching our heads here. At this point engineering is looped in, they are unsure of anything that could make that noise. We also added your concern to a chat of over 800 people that are cybertruck specialists and no one else has ever experienced that beeping."

Thanks.

PS. My name is Peykan ..pronounced Pay-Con.

I have a CB with 11,000 miles on it. I've never had that chirp. I have a buddy with an AWD and his doesn't have it either. However, for the first time this evening I heard a very faint, almost imperceptibly quiet chirp from the front of my M3P. I'd complain just based on how loud it is. That would drive me crazy.

I actually don’t have a motor whine on mine. I do have this grinding noise from 30-60 mph.
