Do you have ADVANCED set under Software Update Preference?
I think it might be wise to turn it off advanced before you get out of the car if you will not be charging the vehicle for a few days (like when you go on a plane trip). I have twice left the state or country only to have an update be issued and somehow everyone already knows that when an update is issued but not installed your CT can’t go to sleep and you lose 6% battery per day. I didn’t read this in any Tesla manual, but as best I can tell it is widely known and it’s one’s own fault for falling victim to this software bug. But that also means before you start your trip, you have to make sure you have the latest advanced software update so that you will be less likely to get a non-advanced update while you are gone.

Tesla is still at the teething stage of revolutionizing a 100+ year car industry…it ain’t gonna happen overnight or cheaply.

I ALWAYS leave the software setting on ADVANCED. I don’t have any phantom drain, never use low power mode and sometimes get updates very early, other times not so early! I will take every FSD/Software update I can get, as early as I can get! šŸ˜…

On the Release Notes, V14.2.2.1 is a minor bug-fix release...2 of my Teslas still hasn't received the V14.2.2, yet. Guess they're getting the V14.2.2.1.
BTW, I was able to fix my inoperable FSD on 1 of my Beast after the latest updates thanks to Grok's suggestion. The other Beast with an inoperable FSD after the latest updates required rewiring my bumper lightbar and removing the control module that came with it. Now both Beasts have operable FSD and functional bumper lightbars šŸ¤“

My Cybertruck’s FSD pulled over for an ambulance last week, even before this update šŸ¤”

At first I thought it was trying to drive along the shoulder as if it were a lane (one of FSD’s greatest hits). Then I heard the siren and saw an ambulance screaming up behind me from a distance. I was impressed that the Cybertruck detected it from that far away.

Actually I already experienced most of these and FSD did very well. I was driving along a ranch’s dirt road and the Cybertruck stopped at a gate and then drove through once it opened. It lapped a parking garage to descend three levels and then exited (I didn’t think it could do that). It maneuvered around a stalled pickup truck blocking two lanes on a busy feeder road. Also it avoided road debris without violent last minute swerves, even in Mad Max mode.
