Just rolled some FSD in a small town. Recent weather left road grit in the center and on the sides of the roads. FSD insisted on riding the right-hand wheels thru the grit - and causing that click click click of grit being bounced off the fender wells etc. Cancelled and provided feedback twice. Weird to be here when riding the center line was not so long ago.

the update is downloading. Not sure I want to install it.
Can’t think of any reason not to. It’s better than any recent version of 14.x by far. As far as the dry wipes that are being reported. I can’t speak to it. I haven’t had a dry wipe in months period on any version of v14 on any of my vehicles.

I’m pretty anal about keeping my windshields clean, but anytime I get glare directly in the lens my CT (only Tesla I own that has this problem) is advising that it needs those cameras cleaned and I’ll get around to it eventually but even with that I’m not getting dry wipes.

ok yeah I'm pretty happy with it now but sounds like it's ok to upgrade.

14.2.2.1 activation process

Press right scroll wheel > press wiper icon > select OFF

Your CT will now slowly take you to your destination in peace.
I’ve got to train myself to do this

Short drive and first impression is they rolled the standard speeds back some again. Doing the speed limit on streets or slighty over. I was doing 45-46 in a 45.

Also now does 25 in my neighborhood in a 25.

Parking was great. The blinker seems to come on later now and not too early.

I will be taking it on the highway tomorrow so I will see how it does.

Got the CT back from service that just did the camera cleaning. Polished inside and out with Adam’s glaze and still dry wipes every time FSD is engaged. Ughhhhhh
You could try a DAS reset in Service Mode. I’d also check the alerts to see if any are camera-related.

Finally, you could clear the camera calibration, but then you need to drive 20-30 miles before FSD will work again. You’ll even need to manually deactivate your blinker like a barbarian lol

Daytime drive today. Same speed discrepancy again. On Standard,
10mph slower than speed limit at some points while at limit and up to 10mph over at other points. Hurry didn't speed up at first, then 10mph over after a while.

Just all over the place with no reliable pattern.

What I found FSD smoothed out when turning into 2 lanes it makes changes where it decides right away and not unknown where the wheel Jenks back and forth like indecisive not knowing what lane

The windshield wipers are working almost to where I would use them now

I’ve had mine cleaned multiple times. It fires off almost instantly when FSD is engaged still. In winter I’m going through gallons of fluid tying to clean the mess the wiper makes for no reason.

this past weekend I rented a Cybertruck on Turo and did 500 miles with only 2 dry wipes I was blown away. I’m actually considering trading mine in it drives me so crazy but it seems like the problem is scattered to some trucks and not others with no rhyme or reason.
