OK I will go with the being legal as long as they own it but may be issues if selling and keeping the seat in the front.

I can see they have 4 kids and none are babies and that would not be a fun vacation trip room wise specifically for the front 3. Also wonder what is the plan for a year or two when a few of kids are even bigger and taller.

Hope they also got a real SUV like a Cadillac Escalade with room for all passengers to move a bit and store luggage and stuff on trips/vacations.

Curious how the airbag that deploys from the edge of the seat into the middle works now. Did they disable that air bag?

Throwing them from the accident. Good idea. I used to know people that were convinced it was safer to drive without seatbelts so they throw out of the window during an accident. Instead of being crushed inside the car.

When I was shopping for my last F-150 I had an inexplicable nostalgic dream that I wanted a bench seat, like the trucks of my youth. So that was one of my requirements. I've regretted it ever since, the Center Console is good to have in everyday use and having the driver and passenger seats designed without compromise is worth it unless you absolutely need a six person cab more than once in a while.

In the last 15 years we've used the center seat no more than twice. And there were available work-arounds if we didn't have it.
I have 1 wife and 2 kids so a 5-seater is all I need 95% of the time. But when we need extra room, the additional people usually come in pairs. Two grandparents. Each kid brings a friend. 6 seats would be ideal. I liked the 6th seat from the CT prototype, which had most of the function of a console but could be a seat when needed. If it became an option, I would choose it. The lack of seat 6 won't stop me buying, but I would like it.

Oh what could have been, 6 seat, midgate, and 500 mile range it would have been the perfect truck.
Still great, but so close to perfection

Wait...

You mean the fun times I recall in those bench seats don't just come back?

If you’re buying a 100k truck, and 6 seats is a requirement, then this truck isn’t the right vehicle for you. I really wanted a 6 seater. If your family is this big, and you can afford this truck, the. You either need two vehicles, or get a 6-7 seater [something else]. It’s kind of crazy to buy this with the intention of modifying it. Also once those kids get to be “teened“ sized, it’ll be so uncomfortable.

Hi Folks,

This is the first (modified) 6-seater Cybertruck I have ever saw. I figured I'd share it with you guys. I really do wish Tesla had kept their initial plans for the 6-seater but my guess is the middle passenger wouldn't have an airbag and would most likely smash their head against the center display which is why they decided against this.

That's awesome, nice job! I recall the CT Prototype having a front middle seat. With all the space we have there it would have made sense to have it and then fold it down when not in use. Realizing it come with many engineering challenges.

Agreed, get more comfortable, or ditch the seat and buy another CT and convoy!

I hope the new battery technology leads to a passenger vehicle from Tesla.
