Of course not. No clue what their spare tire plan was with that thing. You could have two spares.
They could have just built a battery shaped like the entire bed floor plus the subtrunk. Lose about 2 inches of bed depth everywhere but gain maybe 100 miles of range. I’d buy that.

Nope, I love my truck, and don’t currently see any other vehicle that I want. Which is so weird, I’ve always had a “next” car in mind. it always good to have a “Dream” car on a list. This is my 21st car, and it probably wont be my last. I just need to wait for someone to announce a better car.

i do want either a 63 StringRay or a 67 Mustang. But those won’t be a daily driver.

I cant even begin to imagine what vehicles will be in 10 years. Gosh, with how expensive everything is getting, i hope i dont have to buy another road vehicle for at least that much time. Ive got my dream moto, my truck (though its less of a dream…)… a toy perhaps at some point but if the CT holds out my next vehicle purchase will likely be one of the aviation persuasion. You know, a doctorkiller kinda thing…

I’m just like you. My family jokes with me that my CTB is the first vehicle I kept longer than a year. The only vehicle I’ll change CTB is the new version of it in couple of years.

My ultimate dream car is a Porsche 959. However, it’s not allowed in the US and it’s beyond my budget. Last I read it’s running about $1.5M+.

Considering the last vehicle I bought myself was back in 2002 and I still own it, the odds are not likely that I'll be selling it any time soon. Only thing I'd ever consider is trading it in for a newer version when they redesign it with new tech.

Everything in the George Jetson cartoon has come to fruition. Just beyond the horizon is your next car or maybe not a car. Your next mode of transportation might have rotating blades who knows cars used to be a form of art that your senses experienced. You would see a cool car. You would hear it and you’d say I gotta have that and if you could not afford it you’d say someday, I want one.
The cyber truck is the first vehicle I ever purchased without sitting in first, driving it and experienced it when I saw the introduction on TV. I said holy crap what is that and couldn’t wait to get it. I think it was three or 3 1/2 years later I got an email said guess what you can get your truck now. When I went to the dealer and saw it in person I said oh my God that’s ugly and they said go pick up your truck and I got in it and did not know how to drive it. It was very difficult to get a Tesla employee to come out and show me the vehicle. They just did not do that. I was quite surprised but finally I found a young guy working inside and said give me 10 minutes and I’ll come show you and the first day I was terrified of it and the second day I didn’t want to get out of it. I can tell you even if it had a new battery pack all the suspension parts the seats the seat springs everything will wear out overtime and if you’re in a financial position to be able to get something different, you absolutely will. Maybe they’ll be plug n play soon where the most important parts of the truck you’ll just replace them to get the newest version and battery packs my guess is in 10 years They’ll add 200 miles to the cyber truck range if they still sell it. when I’m driving down the road and I see a cyber truck from the back I say oh my god that’s ugly and then I see it coming from the front and I go wow that’s really cool. The only vehicle I will be keeping forever is my hummer H2 and only because that is my hurricane survival vehicle. The only thing I’m sure with the cyber truck is that if my wife and I died tomorrow, none of my kids would want it. Not because they don’t like cyber trucks, but because it would not suit their lifestyles.

My 9yo daughter has dibs on it when she turns 15, I'll buy another one with AI5/6 when the time comes and gift her mine.

I can't imagine owning another vehicle as my daily driver, it still paints a big smile on my face every time I walk into the garage.

Exactly the same scenario here: my 8-year-old son wants the Cybertruck bad. I told him that if he gets good grades and gets some sort of college scholarship (either sports or academic), then my 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck is his to keep. I seriously doubt I'd ever sell the OG Cybertruck, and would just keep it around as a hauler.

I would, however, buy a CyberSUV in a heartbeat.

I’m going to teach my youngest to drive using my Cybertruck - he turns two next month 😁
