Keeping it hopefully as long as possible. Will get rid of it once repairs exceed the value of the truck… hopefully that doesn’t happen

Do you plan on keeping your Cybertruck forever? I know I do
Yes. 💯

This is one of the most misunderstood inanimate objects in history next to the Comets, Shroud of Turin, the Voynich Manuscript, and my favorite Antikythera

Since I received my Foundation in May 2024, I’ve had amazing upgrades to my FSD, added GROK INTO my vehicle, improved lighting options, and so much more.

I will keep this forever and if I need to upgrade the battery if ever an option.

When you tell a hater that it’s bullet proof, no oil changes, inspection stickers, adjustable height, lockable pickup bed, no engine, and I have a “gas station IN MY HOUSE in the form of a plug”… they usually walk away partially enlightened but still deeply biased… but with a glimmer of faint understanding that MAYBE their hate is misplaced.

F*cking rubes.

It is hands down the best car I've ever owned. It will always remain in my fleet. Looking to add a classic Porsche or Ferrari, but the CT is a forever car for me.

They never have for any other vehicle, so doubtful.
You can update an original Tesla roadster battery system - factory parts, etc. But in general, you are correct.

How old is your current cell phone? Then double it and you’ll get the answer.

Ask any HW3 owner.

I had a low-VIN 2012 MS. That car is still on the road but is akin to a Model T in comparison to today’s Teslas. The same will happen with the CT, only with an even faster development cycle.

The question is whether demand volume for the CT gets to the point where Tesla decides to continue development and maintain tech parity for new CTs, or just lets it go. Ford sold twice as many Lightnings as Tesla has sold CTs. Eventually adults make the hard decisions after market failures - and this will ultimately be about economics. I have owned two Teslas with over 100k miles and will never again own one outside its warranty period. I sincerely hope that there’s a CT replacement in 2027-ish when the time comes to trade.
