Let me know if you test this one, its actually a good idea to seal the other end better.
the foam is supposed to arrive today. Will update once tested.

My preference would be the tonneau cover to act as a mini van sliding door and move to the top of the roof glass.
not a bad idea...

Only thing that will interest me is an integrated solar panels to Cybertruck battery. I like the concept of getting 10-15 miles of range or more a day as a last resort charging for disasters.

And if I had money,I would by a cyberBeast right now.

Heads up Display. At the very least a small screen line of sight forward like the aftermarket companies make.
Small item , but why cant we disable the nanny on the passenger seat like on the rears - my dogs favorite spot to ride but I have to click the seatbelt or listen to the chime every time he moves.

I love my current 2025 base AWD cybertruck, but there are a few things that I could see trading up for. For me it would be some combination of these:

1) Plaid speed
2) Battery range increase (from my 320 to say 400)
3) Hardware 5
4) Rear view mirror replaced with screen connected to rear camera
5) Turn stalks
6) Auto wiper that doesn't suck
7) Cameras that self clean (going over dusty trails I constantly have to get out and clean all the cameras)
8) Seats that fold all the way back so you can sleep in the truck
9) Rear seats that fold down and allow passthrough from the bed to the rear of the truck like the Silverado.
10) Waterproof/weatherproof tonneau
11) Baja (ala F150 Raptor) level suspension and tires
12) Integrated storage for a full size spare

What would it take for you to upgrade?
I was watching a video on the Ram charger. It has a bus bar so power from the generator can go directly to the motors vs going to the battery and then the motors. I’d be fine with the current range. (More would be better obviously) if we had an option to hookup a generator in the bed. I would also prefer a tan interior. I like the looks but a more normal looking truck would sell way better. Also upgrade the towing capacity.

A 12 volt system to plug accessories into (behind the frunk) and a way to control those accessories via the screen. All aftermarket stuff, bar a few are 12v.

Turn stalks must be added. Still not used to the buttons.

Pass-through
Wipers that work in snow and ice
Solar (I know, don't care)
Big rear view mirror that displays rear camera
Replace the POS plastic skirt with something metal
Integrated Star Link
Normal Garage Door Opener
Spare solution
"Grok, have the truck stop by Home Depot and park backwards/forwards, in the loading/handicap/closest/veteran space"
Cloaking Device & a few photon torpedoes to remove blockers from the passing lane, or those frozen at right turn red lights

I’d need a refresh at least at the level we saw the S/X get this year. New interior features, wheels, bumpers, etc. I don’t expect them to ever change the SS design.

I also think 2026 is finally the “next year” Elon has been talking about. I think next Christmas I’ll be napping on the way to visit family. So we might see all Teslas start to be designed more around autonomy. I think steering wheels and pedals are sticking around for a while, but maybe side/rearview mirrors will be paid add ons, screens will start getting bigger, seats will swivel and be more like recliners than “driver’s seats,” stuff like that.

Everything is great as is, so I can't really think of anything outside of maybe some significant FSD feature only available on the new model. I'm not sure what that feature would be though.

I don't know that any new features with a refresh would get me to upgrade. Having tried the old model y next to the juniper, I'd just get the refreshed version. The juniper just felt better in every way. It was quieter, rode smoother, and everything was just more polished. I have no doubt the CT team is taking note of all complaints, issues, and feedback will release a new CT in a couple years that will be very similar in appearance but just be more refined overall. The differences will be noticable once you drive it, but I don't think the appearance will be much different. Matrix headlights and a new taillight design to differentiate the two, but that'll be it.

New battery chemistry that produces significantly faster supercharging curve /more range and new hardware that makes my FSD equipment obsolete. Assuming of course these are not upgradeable parts.
or…an SUV version.

Yes. This.

Gosun.co has an interesting product. https://gosun.co/products/ev-solar-charger

Would prefer the skylight be a built-in high efficiency solar panel, something that blacks out the massive windshield when parked and gathers solar energy instead of cooking the interior and solar integrated into the tonneau.

Even if it is just 6 miles per hour on a sunny day, this would be huge for when I'm w/o my garage electric hookup.

A documented/supported interface to the now-orphaned range extender hookup for both parked and mobile charging would enable a lot of innovation.
