I haven't heard anything from my ford dealer yet. I always expected to pay MSRP for a lightning but these markups are ridiculous. hurry and build the CT Tesla!

Nobody has a fucking clue if or what price changes might happen.
Well, I’m pretty sure there are at least a few people… Elon, CT prod line director, etc. But so far they aren’t talking.

What would you all say if CT will have 20k-30k price increase? Would you bash Tesla same way you do for Ford dealerships?
I know Tesla does not have dealers, but I am pretty sure the price will be increased at least 20%. To be honest, I am expecting my CT 3M to be just a couple of hundreds below 100k out of the door...

Wooh there cowboy, I wasn't being specific to the CT, I was referencing the recent years S3XY price increases.

We know the deal is being rearranged in some way.

Some kind of price rearrangement is definitely possible. Without knowing the whole deal it’s hard to say how I would feel about it. If prices went up $10k on the dual motor and range ended up being 420 miles? Probably would just downgrade to that and move on.

That‘s the funny thing about all of this FUD around price bumps. We know the deck chairs are likely getting shuffled we just don’t know what things will look like when it’s done. Until we do, there is no point gnashing our teeth about it.

Did you mean a truck load of windex? A-ha-ha )))))))
Nahhhh... It's just a $890 markup on a $0.05 cent product being applied by someone paid $9/hr. you know, typical dealership deals.

While planning to add FSD, a significant price change would probably opt me to forego FSD. Everything depends on final specs and numbers.

I keep needing to splash cold water on my face or else whatever the 4 motor zero to 60 may override reason.

This really ticks me off butt if I am being honest I am not at all surprised. I have a reservation for a Lightning too. I planned to buy both the Lightning and CT. I figured there would be a year or two spread between delivery dates so i could enjoy whichever one arrived first while waiting on the next. If this crazy markup is going to be the norm Ford can keep the damn truck and my hundred bucks. They must need it worse than me. I have bought my share of new Fords but no more.
My plan as well.

I doubt that I'm alone, I would hope Tesla would make an attempt at limiting multiple orders to prevent this activity. Sorry, but I have a real issue with Scalping.
Are you mad you didn't think of it or that you can't afford to jump the line? I ordered 1 each for my wife, son and myself. They both have no interest in any pickup truck but are free to change their mind. Believe me life is different for wealthy folks.
