Use Sprayway Glass Cleaner for cleaning fingerprints off Cybertruck stainless steel

I am an avid pinball player; I collect and restore pinball machines. AS you can imagine the hand and fingerprints on pinball machines rival that of Cybertrucks. Keeping the glass clean is essential.

The choice of the best glass cleaner is a frequent and heated topic of discussion. I have been happy with the Sparkle cleaner and will try it on the CB.

This is the Sparkle I am using, Sparkle, ammonia free.

DESCRIPTION
20 ounce can of foaming Sparkle Glass cleaner, the best cleaner for pinball machine glass, period.
Sparkle's unique water-based industrial-grade formula is ammonia free, alcohol free & de-ionized, resulting in crystal-clear glass with zero streaks! This makes it the perfect cleaning agent for Invisiglass, Stern HD Glass, Voodoo Glass, PDI Glass, & regular ol' glass.
This cleaner also works great on chrome & stainless steel armor (legs, lockdown bars, hinges & side rails), & much more!
For best results wipe down with a lint free paper towel or a microfiber towel (see related products link below).

Another product that gets frequent praise from the pinball community is Method Glass cleaner.
I have not tried this one. **Bonus** Your CT will smell minty fresh.

I’ve had my CT for three days. Lots of tire dressing spot on the sides. Some fingerprints in the usual places.

Got my (currently on coupon!!) Costco pack of microfibers, and two cans from Target ($2.70/can 19oz size). Ammonia free, foaming.

Wow. Truck looks great!!

It‘s the other side, but that’s the only one I’ve got. This was about 30 minutes prior to Sprayway.

I use Stoners Invisible Auto glass and it works wonders cleaning the fingerprints off and not leaving streaks.

I’ve been an IG guy for a long time. Stuff is amazing.

I always picked it up locally at Walmart, but the Walmart nearest me closed down.

Went to Target, and they stock SprayWay @ $2.70/can. Didn’t feel like driving to the nearest Walmart so I gave it a try.

It’s definitely the equal of IG. Not better, but seems just as effective. What I don’t like is the “Fresh Scent”. There‘s nothing fresh about that chemical perfume, haha!!

I’m definitely going to get some IG to try, if anything just to avoid the SprayWay scent, haha!!

The way that sharp edges meet each other, It’s probably a bit of a balancing act.
Not sure if it can be adjusted without creating another Imperfection, but I’ll ask. Going to the service center for the first time to fix some minor issues on Tuesday,
Extremely happy with a fit and finish on my Cybertruck.
Sprayway makes it as easy to clean as a refrigerator. It was sitting in the rain in my driveway, and I brought it in the garage wiped the rain off and then used sprayway.
Worked really well, so I’m thinking pre-rinsing is helpful.
I have a pressure washer with a deionizing filter for spotless water.

I can’t help it as I am a very OCD person. The first thing I notice on a vehicle are the panel shut lines. If they are slightly off I pick up on it right away.

When my CT eventually arrives I will be going over it with a fine tooth comb. I might even bring my digital calipers with me on delivery day?

This perfectly aligned 911 GTS hood makes my inner OCD very happy

If you spray on the sprayway and leave it for a minute or so, it will remove the tougher prints and some bugs. It works really well and it seems to shine up the truck like a wash and polish would on a painted vehicle! I keep a can in the basket I bought for the floor console along with a rubber welcome mat. It was super cheap but it keeps larger items from rolling around.

I use Adams Detail Spray. Available on Amazon and at WalMart (!!!). Adams also sells MF towels. Just spray on and follow with towel. Buff until clean. Works with mild dirt, but you need to hand wash if you got mud, etc. I spent $4K to total Clear Bra my X. Now I do not need to worry about bird poop. Clean Bra solves the finger print problem and you still have the shinny SS showing through. Lots of friends have vinyl wrapped their CT's. At my altitude, vinyl degrades in about 4 years. Clear Bra has a 10 yr. warranty.
