Incredible update. People have been asking for the left behind car chime for awhile. That's great. Grok can navigate is great that means more and better integration. Hopefully not hallucinating....

How is Grok navigating any different than voice commands where you tell it "take me to Home Depot" or whatever - serious question.

I would suggest watching some of the videos. Examples include multiple stops. Also imagine having a conversation where you ask it to tell you about the five best Thai restaurants within a 5 mile radius and then telling you about them and then say navigate to that one.

I imagine controlling the music is going to be next. And then rolling out climate control I can’t wait for a full integration.

I’d be pretty excited to use it as a tour guide in places I don’t know. I’d like for it to be able to identify points of interest and offer some internet wisdom on them. Maybe even intelligently learn what actually interested in seeing.

Yes. No one has it. You will know when you have it. It will say Holiday Update in the notes.

Yes. 2020 MY has it (for 3 days now). No other car in our fleet does. It does not refer to itself as a holiday update and there is no FSD update included for this HW3 vehicle, minor or otherwise.

My mother-in-law hasn’t bothered to install it, so I’m installing it now.

My iPhone battery has been draining like crazy ever since this update. I don’t know if it’s the car update or the app update, but I used to get about 15% a day battery use with almost all of it background activity and only a couple minutes of on screen time(which is still a lot). Ever since the holiday update I’m at 35-45% a day. And I even tried restarting the car and app and no help so far. I just got another holiday update today so we’ll see how it goes. Now I’m on 2025.44.25.3

Have you tried restarting the phone?

iOS 26.2 was recently released; maybe something there will fix it.

Yeah I’ve restarted everything. I don’t think the iOS update will matter. This issue literally started right after the holiday update. My phone software has not changed.
