Thank you for the answer and it just seems it would be easier and plainer to people to just pull up or out on a non hidden handle.
But then I guess I am also one of many still living in the late 20th century. LoL
Not sure how much wear and tear there is with the old way of handles. In my 47 years of owning cars and trucks of various types I have never had a handle break or not work. Not saying it never happens but.......
One time long ago I did have a hand window crank go bad on a ford. Back then I just popped off the inside door trim, replace the missing tooth bracket and remounted the door trim. Best I remember it was like a $20-25 fix for the part.
But I also get that Elon/Telsa wanted the CT to be like a future looking vehicle and with much of the latest tech.
