Not necessarily illegal, I’ve seen many places with ev charging including a Tesla Supercharger that specifically says “anyone can park” with smaller text that explains to only park if there is no parking elsewhere where. Not an EV. The GM BEV trucks do not have separate beds.
In China, some stations have installed barriers to keep out the riff-raff:They should put little smart spikes like at airports at the end of the spots like at an airport. If you’re in violation, they go up and act like a boot and will not come down/release the boot until you pay whatever they deem is a reasonable violation fee.
