Wanted some clarification, I stopped into the design district showroom in Miami to check out the Cybercab … One of advisors stated that I would get a light bar since I ordered a Cyberbeast. I clarified and asked him three times that I own a non-foundation series Cyberbeast. “Are you sure I still get the light barfrom Tesla?” He said yes. Has anyone else heard the same or is this guy just confused?

According to my Service Manager the off-road light bar will ONLY be available for the foundation series cyberbeast

They even attempted to wire one up to a foundation series AWD to see if it will work and said that the “wiring was incompatible”

Seems this will stay as an exclusive feature for the Original FS Beasts.

You wouldn't believe the number of times folks on the forums have had to correct Telsa staff.
It makes sense I suppose. They are there for a paycheck, we are there because we love the product.

Someone already answered in the affirmative but just in case you didn’t see it, because I didn’t until recently!

The answer is, yes! Very much, yes!!!

Not only that, but it’s realtime monitored! So, when it’s on- it’s on in the app (and on the touchscreen), and when it’s off -it’s off!

Thank you so much for answering. Really appreciate it.

Hey just noting that on my vehicle after my install yesterday, the light bar shown on the screen and app also turns on and off in real time so you can see there whether your light bar is on or not as another data point.
Whats your thoughts on the lightbar so far? Does it ruin the overall look?

I absolutely love it! It does not ruin the look in anyway absolutely enhances it I’m so happy that I got it!!

One interesting note for me is I was disappointed when it wasn’t beneath the glass like it was in the unveil prototype. The design though is raked in such a way as to almost give the illusion of being a continuation of the glass.

In my opinion it’s absolutely perfect!!! I don’t have concerns that some have mentioned about it being glued to the window sure if my window gets a crack it’ll have to be reattached but I don’t care.

My literal only concern is that there won’t be enough spares so that if something happens to mine I can replace it.

If what another user was told today is true and this is only a FS/CB product then I hope they made enough to have replacements.

I’ll try to get some really good shots of it once I get some daylight in the next day or so. Road trip tomorrow so I should have some nice vistas to go with it.

"Seems this will stay as an exclusive feature for the Original FS Beasts." If true, seems a missed revenue opportunity and sux for those that want one. I have a FS beast and am waiting for notification. I appreciate it makes the FS beast visually unique (they needed to do something) but personally think something a bit less useful than a light bar to differentiate would have been a better call...eg rims/tires, CF Tailgate top, etc

At least when I'm in wife's SUV I can tell if I can beat a CT in the lane next to me...without having to get out and check the tailgate! :)

Did they charge for installation ? My SC has an estimate cost for the installation.

no. You won’t be charged SOP is to price out service and give you an estimate and then if it’s under warranty or a covered installation such as this to zero it out upon completion. Not to fret.

I finally got my light bar today. In California it’s supposedly illegal and so the service center will not “connect” the wiring and will also cover the light with black tape.
