I am holding out buying one until they make one that doesn’t have such a shitty wide FOV. This one looks same as factory which is awful. Would be great to be able to zoom in or adjust.

Yes Rivian got this right.Mounting it above and behind the tonneau/bed could be useful for times when it is open.

if you like, you can order it directly on website: https://hansshow.biz/400Co49Looks like they did a good job. This was on the top of my really want accessory list but at this point I've pretty much fully adapted to the rear view on the screen. Would be nice to have with the tailgate down though. And an extra dash cam could be a good thing I suppose.
Up to 30% not 30% off code. After discount, it is about $360 with free shipping. It’s saying $399 and $79 off making it $320. But your thing says 30% not 20% so should be $279, is it not Working or did it change? Great job btw! Looks clean and well done!
sorry for the delay. We just finished holidays for National Day and come back to work. Can you send me your order number, i will help you follow. Not related to the Mirror , but I did order some CT accessories from Hansshow and they completely ghosted me after. Item was supposed to have been shipped already.
Did not respond to emails, did not respond to my inquiry via their website and did not respond to chat messages on their website - multiple attempts were made.
I'll give it another week then I may do a chargeback
Adjustable camera picture size options would be nice as well. This is great for those that want it. I dont need it...I just want Tesla to make the back video bigger on the screen. Like maybe twice as big.
If it was mounted into the light bar it would be a short run you wouldn’t need a lot of wire. from the mirror across your headliner out the door. Done! ?I have always assumed that you will be able to mount side and rear facing cameras on the light bar and use the upper power harness (maybe with a transformer) for power. Alternatively, you could mount the cameras to a rack. Still need to route the camera feed to the mirror.
I am curious as to the dimensions that produce a 50 degree fov. I was fudging around with a 15' wide view at 10' behind the tailgate and that turns out to be about 37 degrees. A 20' wide view at 10' back would be 45 degrees. If I mounted a camera behind the upper light bar it would be another 6' and a 25 degree fov would produce the same view. But I have never done this before so it is all guessing and trigonometry for me.It looks like the image on the mirror is the same field of view as the rear image on the main screen. Is this the case? It should be about 50 degrees FoV to be a viable replacement for a real mirror. If it's the same 120FoV as the backup camera, there's no real point to putting this in.

Yeah, I'll just wait until Tesla sends it, as an over the Air up date and have it as a software update
