It's the right move. Compact and subcompact at scale is where global production needs to go. Along with infrastructure to allow EV operation for all market tiers. Maybe the CT gets developed into a family of utility vehicles at some point.
I suspect others have queried about this. Tesla EVs do large data dumps regularly. We are on a rural sattelite internet connection with limited data and I have to turn this off. I'm wondering if someone has already done trouble shooting on this. Pardon if I've missed an earlier thread.
I got some adhesive foam that is normally used for hvac type stuff. Cut with scissors. Peel and stick. Matching matte black. Easy to fix if it gets mucked up.
If your interface is purely web based and doesn't require a download and you have a reliable connection it could work I suppose. Maybe the game controller would help? But its limited. For my work I need to multi task and use a keyboard and other stuff that doesn't connect to the vehicle. Luckily...
The space where I park has a 240 v Nema 6-50 outlet that was installed to power a welder. My charge cable doesn't fit it but I've seen adapters that do. I'm curious if this is safe or is there some other variable I need to be aware of.
If this is already a thread and I missed feel free to redirect, I did search. I'm just wondering who has successfully mounted a spare tire to the tailgate either using the hitch or some other mounting solution. Hopefully that swings away for access and doesn't block the camera or license plate...
I just finished installing my bed rack. I notice that the hard points on the passenger side especially have gaps down into the contrail cavity. I'm thinking that I will use some weatherstripping and silicone to seal this up so I don't get water accumulating inside the walls. Anyone else solve this?
One of my favorite features of the tesla sedans is the ability to fold the seats down in a way that allows you to lie down inside the cab. I'm hoping someone develops a seat kit for the CT that allows front and rear seats to fold into a single sleeping surface similar to conversion van setups...
I had the same problem. Tesla sent a replacement that works fine. I still have the defective one and am pondering possible ways to use it for something.
On the truck I use it. On my model 3 I haven't bought it so I only use it when they give me a free trial. I think its neat but not a necessity. And I kind of enjoy the challenge of improving my driving score. I think I'm at 98 now.
