Your only argument is ad hominem. Your ad hominem is demonstrably false. So, I demonstrated it.

You came in like a psychopathic, emotional, nincompoop. Not one fucking word that I’ve said is false. The fucking robot unsolicited launched into a political diatribe, it was documented, verified by a Tesla they apologized for and called it a fucking glitch!!!

You want to first go into it when it wasn’t even necessary, secondly, gaslight and pretend that it didn’t happen. And then somehow control the narrative as to whether it matters … TO OTHERS!!!!

This is insanity!

What are you smoking today?
my-brother-in-Christ,

The Optimus Robot didn't launch a diatribe with anyone. I already explained, fully, what happened and what X did to prevent it from happening in the future.

You took that story and ran with it as some grand proof of 'Elon/Tesla bad'. I'm simply calling that out as utter nonsense.

No, it's more likely that he simply can't summon the energy to suffer fools. My mother always said that was my weakness too.
?

I can totally summon the energy. I’ve just learned it’s best not to. Not sure what’s wrong with this guy tonight it’s not characteristic, but I’ll fight with anybody for hours if they want to be honest. This guy wants to have a fight about something else tonight and I’m not here for it.

My opinion is not up for debate and nothing that I said regarding the factual occurrence that prompted my opinion is inaccurate.

He hasn’t even tried to argue that it was he just that he omitted what actually occurred and suggested that I misrepresented it.

Well, I didn’t represent it at all. I said I don’t want and won’t buy robots that glitch and start preaching politics. I don’t trust that Tesla, under Elon, will deliver anything but that.

I said it. I meant it. I will never change my opinion about that.

I've never had to block anyone here before, but you could be the first... you're way, way too invested in this. ?
Go ahead and block away.

I'm not the one claiming that Tesla targeted your specific vehicle to remove range and charging speed; a claim which would be an extreme detriment to Tesla, as they stand to gain absolutely nothing of value and everything to lose.

I've been blocked for less. Asking for actual receipts of bold claims is a hill to die on.

Grok most certainly did. And Optimus is going to be powered by Grok. Which was designed by a confused, political neophyte brand new red-pilled baby conservative who thinks he has all the answers and has decided that his AI should be imbued with all of the wisdom of his newly adopted political dogma. This is an absolute fucking nonstarter!

And I don’t care what they did to fix it. The grand total of experiences I’ve had with Tesla since 2020 and most recently with the cancellation of the extended range battery has caused me to lose faith.

The moment that Elon said that he created Grok because he believed other LLM’s were woke and he would give his LLM the right political opinion was when he lost me forever on that garbage. That isn’t new. That’s why Grok will never be in my car, on my phone or in any robot that’s in my house.

Again, you want to fight about this I keep telling you that I’m not going to. And now I’m done telling you that I’m not going to. I’m just going to not to.

Would'a. Could'a. Should'a.

Glad you sorted that out. Definitely an insider conspiracy from bad guy Tesla or Evil Elon for no reason, to limit your battery. You were unfairly targeted!

It definitely wasn't an engineering decision after they saw concerning spikes of accelerated pack degradation from the data model, which is of course why they instituted the slower charge speeds for a short season in the first place.

Nope. They just wanted to lie and steal from you.

But you for sure are right on this one. Thanks for providing the validate data on this. I'll go back and edit all of my posts made on the topic now.
Dude, it wasn’t that they made a valid engineering decision to protect the battery. That was FINE. It was that they LIED about having done so. They were eventually forced to admit this, paid a whistleblower settlement, and thousands of dollars to thousands of owners. Sheesh.

There are MANY that were promised FSD that cannot run it going forward.
Show. me. where. Tesla. made. this. promise. Why is this such a hard ask?

I think you keep confusing what proof is. I want to see something in writing. Did you purchase FSD outright? If so, show us the purchase agreement and I'll point you to the sections where you are mistaken on features and disclaimers.

Most people don't fully understand living software, software agreements, or even technical feature descriptions.

And it’s patently obvious that some HW4 vehicles, such as those without front bumper cameras, will never be able to run full FSD, unsupervised, which is what Elon promised -
Nope. I'm going to stop you right there. You keep doing this thing where you quasi-quote someone and then huff and puff when I ask for you to show us this 'promise'.

you’ll be able to put your kid in the car and send him to school, or you’ll be able to register your car and make thousands of dollars per year in the robotaxi program, more than enough to pay for itself. How close is that?
Nowhere near, because you just did the quasi-quote thing again. I don't want your recollection of a supposed claim; I want the actual claim.

And what of the many cars purchased under that promise that we now know don’t have the necessary hardware and cannot run the most recent software?
Still waiting for this "promise" to be fully articulated and documented. Where is it?

You must have a lot of time on your hands to engage in this stuff, but I’m walking the Camino Portuguese and must stop here. Have a nice life.
Everyone always seems to be too busy RIGHT when the meat and potatoes enter the discussion ????

You can't even receive correction. Come on man. Even an "oops, I meant Grok" would have been a proper response.

We finally got to how you really feel about Elon. This discussion left "facts" a long time ago, and is now heavily in the "feelings" territory.

I'm here to provide a voice of correction for every miscount of the truth I keep finding. Be glad to discuss with anyone if they think Telsa made any "promise" about FSD.

I'll start with the purchase agreements and terms of service. You know, actual things, established in writing.

(?literally no one is going to step up to the plate and debate me on this. feel it in my bones.)

I spent hours debating that with you and explaining the law to you months ago I’m not doing it again.

You mean that thing I already did before you posted this?

I performed a broad search on my end. Found no results of a supposed "whistleblower" in the case of firmware dialing back capacity and charge rate.

Have a link, or am I fool for asking?

Ok, Judge Dredd. Clearly you are the only one who can have an opinion on law on this forum lol. Guess that's a wrap! Everyone else pack it up.

I'll keep defending my position on this matter:

There are a ton of people here irrationally and wilfully making errant claims about FSD, and what Tesla has supposedly promised about the program.

Still waiting for a hard quote. Anyone out there? Bueller?

Does your back hurt from moving the goal posts constantly?

Your assertion was that nobody has discussed it with you when it came to the meat and potatoes; I did it for hours! I’m not doing it again. And your assertion that nobody ever addresses that substance when push comes to shove is just false.

Again, I can see Punxsutawney Phil is fighting with you about it tonight but, I can’t see his posts … so, there’s that. I won’t waste a second of my time with him because I don’t think he has anything of value to offer.

You are not in that camp for me. Again, I like you better when you’re on your game focused and rather than just playing games.

You’ve admitted that you’re “aggravated.” I guess you didn’t like my framing of that as “emotional,” but you are. And it shows, and it’s not a great look.

You’re fighting with who knows how many people you’ve clearly got something on your chest. I sincerely hope you can get it off, dude. But, I won’t keep going around with you about this tonight.

I will say it again: you are better than this!

Brother, you are in no position to try and lecture me about being emotional when you took the time out of your day to arrange your Tesla merch like they are a prized pokemon collection as proof that you are an ardent investor, and thus an elevated opinion on the matter. Absolutely nothing of which, has anything whatsoever, to do with the topic.

We can have a heated disagreement on a topic and still be friends, by the way.

I just want people to show me evidence of what they are claiming.

People keep mentioning promises about FSD.

I want everyone to stop playing games, and cough up real evidence of these supposed promises.

The trivial matter of taking some stuff off of my desk at my home office and some nicely stacked shirts that are all stacked together in my wardrobe a few feet away and spreading them out on the bed makes you think I’m emotional. ??‍♂

What you envision of being some extensive process to make a point probably took less time to do than the last post that you wrote.

And this was kind of the point; these are shirts that I wear daily and things that are within my arms reach from both my office at work and at home. It was easier to put the knickknacks on my bed than to remove the things around them that would infringe upon my privacy in my home office.

You made a dumb, demonstrably false, ad hominem attack and I demonstrated for you how dumb and obviously false it was. I hope that you don’t ever do it again.

But that’s on you.

You want proof of what he and I discussed while I stood next to his computer? Seriously? ?

That's completely insane. For some reason, this whole thread reminds me of Sam Kinnison in Back to School. You really seem to care...about what I have no idea.

I think we're done...

I didn't ask you for that, but nice attempt at a straw-man.

Another response from you that doesn't actually provide a claim that can be reviewed by your peers.

You should publish a scholarly paper on this since you have such an ironclad conspiracy on your hands. Can't wait to read it.
