So you demand examples, saying there are none, and I give you a bunch, and all you can do is say why the decisions were wrong or why the lies weren’t really lies. Okay.
I specifically asked for *an* example; meaning one. Since you can't follow that, it's no surprise that you would take a leap from extreme examples that don't hold up to the general unfounded scrutiny that "tesla lies". Funny you didn't offer any commentary on my Ford mustang example ?‍♂. Double standards.

didn’t listen to the conference call last week where Elon admitted they couldn’t do the HW4 upgrade.

Or the prior one where he said that every car being delivered was FSD capable.
No lie detected. Which Tesla vehicle on the road today isn't capable of running FSD? I'll wait.

Or the subsequent one to that where he admitted they would have to upgrade all HW3 cars to HW4 for owners with FSD.
Who here is disputing that? Elon clearly just reinforced Tesla's policy that was already in place. If you purchase FSD outright, then you are eligible for hardware upgrades.

In so many words. No, I’m not doing any more of your work for you. Get the transcript.
THERE IT IS, FOLKS! ? Can't be bothered to provide actual firsthand quotes from the company or Elon.

I must just be lazy since *I* can't find evidence for *your* claims.

I had a '15 S and the 85 pack absolutely did suffer a significant step change in supercharging speed following an update. Tesla then stonewalled and denied anything had happened. I chased an explanation for a couple of years. One service guy who was friendly with me and very good with computers was clearly disturbed by the ethics of what Tesla was doing, dug very deep into the computer system and found "engineering notes". He carefully told me that my car had been specifically targeted for the change so what I had experienced was done purposely.
This happened to a number of people as documented on the TMC forums.

This thread is the perfect example of how stupid it is to try to knock some sense in the Elon/Tesla haters. It can't work.
I’m no Elon hater. I love the guy, am one of his biggest fans. But I also live in realville and believe in truth. There is no bigger defender than me when people get him wrong. I’ve sold more Teslas for the company than anyone you’ve likely met, through ownership advocacy and test drives in my personal vehicles. At their request I’ve accompanied Tesla executives to state houses to introduce them to politicians I know and twice assisted them in overcoming objections to their dealership model. But it is still correct that Elon is often full of BS and says things that clearly aren’t true. Does that detract a little bit from his many accomplishments? I still say he is a modern day Edison, Ford and Einstein, despite these flaws. He has changed the world more than any other contemporary. Every time I use Starlink at my remote farm I give thanks for Elon Musk. But I still know what is truth and what isn’t. He often plays fast and loose to his own detriment. That’s irrefutable fact.

If they don't come, the naysayers will claim he lied again (because they don't know the difference between lying and being wrong). That makes me think they lie a lot!
Sort of like how a great number of mainstream legacy media outlets have been publishing their 'reviews' of a "failed or failing" Robotaxi network that hasn't even launched yet lmao

yeah, they are all unabashed liars. and filthy rich from it too.

They've improved where I live. Bright future ahead for Tesla still, anything in Texas is gold as it moved into the 7th largest economy in the world as blue states decline, etc. Tesla, SpaceX, both made great choices on moving HQs.

Stop beclowning yourself buddy. Ad hominem circular logic all of the fucking dumb shit that you’re doing right now because you cannot handle that somebody else isn’t going to join you in hero worship?
Look man, I certainly don't worship Elon. In fact, I think he's a prime candidate for the anti-Christ. I just know he's quite likely the most consequential mind of several generations past and present; and because of the type of disruption his companies are bringing, there will obviously be an unbelievable amount of entrenched FUD being spread about him.

I'm here, generally aggravated, because people keep making claims of him "being a liar".

It's only a few people that keep changing the subject or going on tangential rants when I ask them to provide actual proof.

You go so amped up by this discussion that you went through the trouble of arranging all of your merch for a photo op. Come on dude, this is getting kinda weird, right?

I'm not trying to take stabs at you personally, but I do have the ability and right to point out when people are not being honest.

Oh, he blocked me.

That checks out. Most people due when they get so flustered that they feel the need to validate feelings with amount of swag purchased; as if that somehow lends credibility to wild, unfounded accusations against a controversial CEO lmao.
Your only argument is ad hominem. Your ad hominem is demonstrably false. So, I demonstrated it.

You came in like a psychopathic, emotional, nincompoop. Not one fucking word that I’ve said is false. The fucking robot [*AI misspoke here but that’s not what I said above] unsolicited launched into a political diatribe, it was documented, verified by a Tesla they apologized for and called it a fucking glitch!!!

You want to, firstly, go into it when it wasn’t even necessary, secondly, gaslight and pretend that it didn’t happen. And then somehow control the narrative as to whether it matters … TO OTHERS!!!!

This is insanity!

What are you smoking today?

No, it's more likely that he simply can't summon the energy to suffer fools. My mother always said that was my weakness too.

I've never had to block anyone here before, but you could be the first... you're way, way too invested in this. ?

Courts literally have found that Tesla lied and you attempt refutation. Wow just wow. I gave specific examples. You claim that giving more than one violated your internet god rule that you had asked for only one. So sorry to make you work overtime. Now you ask which Tesla vehicle on the road today cannot run FSD. There are MANY that were promised FSD that cannot run it going forward. And many that were promised FSD that could never run any version of it. My ‘15 P85D was one example. My ‘19 MX was another. Of course any pre-FSD, pre-camera Tesla fits your question, even though it was never promised to them. So please stop “waiting”. And yes, Elon has admitted that HW4 upgrades aren’t feasible for HW3 owners. And it’s patently obvious that some HW4 vehicles, such as those without front bumper cameras, will never be able to run full FSD, unsupervised, which is what Elon promised - you’ll be able to put your kid in the car and send him to school, or you’ll be able to register your car and make thousands of dollars per year in the robotaxi program, more than enough to pay for itself. How close is that? And what of the many cars purchased under that promise that we now know don’t have the necessary hardware and cannot run the most recent software?

You must have a lot of time on your hands to engage in this stuff, but I’m walking the Camino Portuguese and must stop here. Have a nice life.

I would have happily signed up for a class action suit had one been started in my jurisdiction.
Would'a. Could'a. Should'a.

Glad you sorted that out. Definitely an insider conspiracy from bad guy Tesla or Evil Elon for no reason, to limit your battery. You were unfairly targeted!

It definitely wasn't an engineering decision after they saw concerning spikes of accelerated pack degradation from the data model, which is of course why they instituted the slower charge speeds for a short season in the first place.

Nope. They just wanted to lie and steal from you.

But you for sure are right on this one. Thanks for providing the validate data on this. I'll go back and edit all of my posts made on the topic now.
