F-150 Lighting Owner REACTS to CYBERTRUCK
for good reason.
All truck beds get dirty and scratched up if it's used as a truck. But I've never met anyone who cared about scratches in the bed, but probably just because I don't hang out with pretenders who care about scratches in their truck bed. I mean, it's a truck bed, right? The steel bed of my F-150 is dented to hell and back (and it only has 50K miles) but no one cares. For those who do care about dents inside the bed, It looks to me like that will not be the case with the Cybertruck because it's made out of a dent resistant composite material. One of the best parts in the video was the steer-by-wire tight u-turn. Somehow the video showed it from a cool perspective with the outside scenery kind of spinning around as the Cybertruck made the u-turn.
Interesting note about the UV and vault plastic starting to fade. Wondering if some Cybertruck vaults will see spray in bed liners or paint used in the future. I'm a little skeptical of ceramic coating because even if it protected against UV it likely won't last that long having to be re-applied too often. Either way though the vault inside is going to get dirty and scratched up if one uses it as a real truck.

He did not compare the size at all? CT has smaller cabin, much smaller frunk and smaller (a little longer) bed.Ah cool, just saw an interview with this same owner today.
His main points:
- Solid highway feel
- Wont do a long trip in it again (20 hr drive from Austin to CA turned to 27 hour drive based on the frequent stops for charging)
- 40-50min stops each supercharging stop.
- Energy usage getting better now with local drives in warmer Cali weather.
- Truck is finnicky with things needing to do for best efficiency
- 3 things he liked
- 30% more comfortable then Model X
- Confidence on Durability with the stainless steel
- Steer by Wire
- Thing he disliked
- Fingerprints are annoying
- Doors are heavy for significant other, family, kids, etc.
- Feels like the interior and exterior plastics are not that durable, concerns with how it will hold up
- The A Pillar is a big blind spot
Given that I am cross-shopping the Cybertruck with a Model X, this is great to hear.Ah cool, just saw an interview with this same owner today.
