Nope. Toyota has been fairly obstinate about electrification. Belligerently so at times.

Nope. Toyota has been fairly obstinate about electrification. Belligerently so at times.
I don't blame them. Plenty of people will either take a long time to convert to electric or it will never make sense for whatever reason. Toyota makes damn fine gas and hybrid cars and have the tooling to keep doing so. Why try to compete with Tesla in Tesla's game?

I’ve owned many Toyotas over the years. Always been a huge fan of their toughness and reliability. I recently bought my girlfriend a new grand Highlander and myself a new Land Cruiser. Very disappointed in both as the quality has gone downhill immensely. Especially the land cruiser. It is not even close to the land cruisers of the past.

I love this new FJ. It's been some time since Toyota, or anyone, released a new body-on-frame compact SUV. Many were hoping for Suzuki Jimny to come to U.S., but this will be the closest, if they actually come to U.S.
