    Tint - 5% versus 15% ?

I did 70% on windshield and top, 20% on side windows to match the factory back ones. I think it's a happy medium- the UV elimination is very good with the XPEL's ceramic and the cost savings from overheat protection are real (but now I can't use solar panels on the dashboard). Sometimes I wish...

Bed liner - is it necessary? What do you like?

I really love using the WM Bagster. I think I've done about 5-6 yards of gravel or sand, it's only slightly tearing because I never bought a flat shovel and got sloppy. https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/heavy-duty-bed-liner-diy-hack-using-bagster-dumpster-in-a-bag.39792/ This...

    FLASH DRIVE Became "Write Protected"?

if you don't care about the data currently on it, have the tesla re-format the drive to set it to the default settings. Then you should be able to use it normally. If not, it might be corrupted.

FSD 14.2.1 (Update 2025.38.9.6) Rolling Out

I would love if Standard could just stick to the flow of traffic in the lane I give it, change lanes to pass only when someone is going way slow, and go back to where it was. Highways on the old version were much better- it would go a decent speed, and i could adjust up to where I wanted it...

FSD 14.2.1 (Update 2025.38.9.6) Rolling Out

For me it seemed like it was: Standard: Max 5mph over Hurry: Max 10mph over, but thinks it's doing 20 over the way it leaves a wide open lane to sit in the left lane while people are trying to use it for what it is- a PASSING LANE ONLY Mad Max: could never tell because it just wanted to keep...

FSD parking oops (hit house reversing into garage)… yes I know I’m supervising

it's so crazy that FSD will hit any non-moving object, especially at low speeds. Honestly, this is the biggest downfall of a full-AI system, there should be some kind of actual software that stops this.

FSD parking oops (hit house reversing into garage)… yes I know I’m supervising

wild, my experience is much different, though I drive many-lane freeways instead of highways. It's Much Better around town (it can even handle my commute when I'm feeling patient), but absolutely worse in almost every way on freeways, the exception being that it no longer drives on or over the...

    Wall Charger vs Mobile Connector

It was built in 1927, thank you very much. But it is just a small beach bungalow, 240 is overkill (with gas appliances) until you get a cybertruck.

Will the new Land Cruiser FJ cut into CT sales?

I don't blame them. Plenty of people will either take a long time to convert to electric or it will never make sense for whatever reason. Toyota makes damn fine gas and hybrid cars and have the tooling to keep doing so. Why try to compete with Tesla in Tesla's game?

    it's not electric though?

Spoken vs audible vs visible warnings setting desired

I always did find it ironic that on FSD you have to look at the screen to see the warning that you're not looking at the road...

FSD 14 Poll and reports... eventually

mine has gotten better about not crossing over the left lane line. It's still not perfect, but it used to be atrocious.

Using Jackery Explorer 100 Power Bank to power Starlink Mini from Cybertruck's USB

I just got the mini, a usb c converter plug, and anker solix c300 w/ 100watt solar panels (Labor Day sale). unfortunately it seems to not give enough power despite the port being labeled for 100 or 140 watts. The starlink kept restarting every three to five mins. A jackery explorer 300 was able...

Using Jackery Explorer 100 Power Bank to power Starlink Mini from Cybertruck's USB

Sounds like you don't have a use case. For me, my job is in an area with no signal and spotty wifi, I semi-frequently travel to places with no signal, and my grandfathered-in family cell phone plan drastically reduces hotspot data after 5Gb, which is about two weekdays. If you cell phone plan...

Cybertruck can now warn when Vehicle Load Rating is exceeded (helpful towing feature)

Idk I just got a cubic yard of sand and got the message. It was wet, but should still be under 3,000lbs.

Cybertruck can now warn when Vehicle Load Rating is exceeded (helpful towing feature)

LOL I was thinking my second yard of sand (a week later) was just wet because I didn't get this warning the first time. This explains it! Note: You can still drive just fine with this warning. It also says it will recalculate "next drive" but it doesn't seem to do any refresh when you park (and...
