Another CT without question.

I take it this is a hypothetical situation? Because, I donāt see any offers for buying back any cyber trucks!Given a full refund of your CT purchase, what would you buy? Get a 2026 CT? Get a 24-25 CT used and pocket the diff? SilveradoEV or any other oddball?
The situation is referring to the people getting theirs bought back by Tesla due to Lemon Laws or other issues.I take it this is a hypothetical situation? Because, I donāt see any offers for buying back any cyber trucks!
I donāt see me ever selling my truck back! Once everybody else turns their truck back in, I will have the only Cybertruck Beast left!
āDr.Evil smile!ā
Same; in the process of trying to get mine bought back. I'm going with an AWD '26 CT. Drove a Beast. Still don't think there was enough for the $20k difference; $100k vs $80k when I bought mine. Now, it's a $35k difference; $115k vs $80k. No thanks. So I am in this boat right now. Working thru a buyback on a 2025 AWD. I am going to buy another CT as it is the best vehicle I have ever owned. The debate is the difference between a Beast and the AWD. I just do not see enough benefits for going with the Beast. Anyone have a recommendation on why Beast over AWD?
My father always wanted a Mercedes and late in life got one (or 2?). He told me that the maintenance frequency and cost soured him on Mercedes. Clearly some people either havenāt had that kind of experience or donāt care. I wouldnāt get a German car if it was the last car on the planet. It's going to be tough to ever replace the Cybertruck when the time unfortunately comes. I worry nothing will ever be as ground breaking and exciting as it is.
Mercedes is definitely quality. I just wish the EQS didn't remind me of an Accord.
I am getting refunded for my Cybertruck. Tesla is buying it back.
After my experience, I will not be getting another Cybertruck. I originally planned to replace it with a Cadillac Vistiq, but I have since changed course and will most likely return to Mercedes for our next EV.
We previously owned an EQS SUV and currently have an AMG EQE SUV. At this point, we will likely either get another EQS SUV or try the EQS sedan.
Out of all the EVs we have owned, Mercedes has provided the most consistent, reliable, and high quality experience overall. That is what has me strongly leaning in that direction again.
At this point, I have no interest in another Cybertruck or Tesla as a primary vehicle. That said, I would not rule out something like a Model 3 Performance in the future as an additional fun car, but not as a daily driver.
Because obviously you dislike Musk but donāt mind buying from the guys that invented fascism?I am getting refunded for my Cybertruck. Tesla is buying it back.

Probably a condo in the Philippines I think Elon should give everyone that bought a cyber truck full FSD for free. investors have been hanging on the Tesla stocks for a long time now and itās not doing very well. Itās time he did something instead of making people angry.Given a full refund of your CT purchase, what would you buy? Get a 2026 CT? Get a 24-25 CT used and pocket the diff? Congrats. Rivian is still a great truck. My Cybertruck was bought back and after a year I ended up getting a R1T. Rear steering is missed and the CT is better in every way. At some point I may get another CT. But for now I am happy with the R1T.
If the CT didnāt exist, I would still be driving a 2019 Ram 1500 (which I still own). I would not purchase a Rivian (too small) or a Hummer (terrible QC) or a Silverado EV (again, terrible QC, another GMC). And the Lightning is dead (even if it wasnāt, not interested).Congrats. Rivian is still a great truck.
