Driver side front and back and passenger front tire looks great. Back passenger side tire worn down significantly. Is that normal? should I rotate the bad one upfront for a bit or just replace and rotate other tires?

Check your alignment and wheel camber, you should never have unexplained or uneven wear.

went through my first set at 8300 miles - only the front two were showing substantial wear in the mid section but changed all 4 anyway - check ebay for take off's - I found a set of fresh goodyears for $1100

I try to rotate every 5000 miles.
Will be going the BFGoodrich HD TerraIns when these Goodyears wear out. The BFG HD Terrains are specifically designed for Heavy Trucks with High Torque. Sound familiar?

This is a great Tire Nerd video. The HD Terrain history and description is at 16:20.

If it's ONLY the rear passenger side tire that's worn down, then it could be that the rear 'steering' is out of alignment... In other words, it's as if your 'rear wheel steering' has THAT wheel turned slightly and is essentially 'dragging' it...

If it's not leaving any 'rubber' on the pavement that you can notice, it may be VERY minor...

This can happen if you hit something hard enough and fast enough that it might throw it out a bit...

In any case, I would get it in to the shop and have them fix the problem...

thanks for the reply, brother! Is that something that would be covered under warranty if it was delivered that way?

As long as YOU didn't damage it... Should be, yes... But in any case you need to get it fixed or you will be buying one extra tire all the time...

Hey I was just checking my tire wear and like you I have the same pattern of wear. Passenger is basically Zero tread the whole way across. The others are within expected.
What did SC say about yours?
I have 15k on it.
