4 miles or so of 45mph, 23 miles of 60ish, and about 14 that's traffic/60 depending on the traffic each way. All in all, it's an 88-mile daily commute for me.
I think speed makes a difference. Quite a bit. I'm rockin' down the highway at 80 and that does burn up those back tires. Even slow highway miles for me is 70 (that's in Missouri going to Lake of the Ozarks).

I think I see how you can get 40K out of tires in the under 60ish speeds and not city driving (which also eats up tires).

I made a one year service appointment, only real item to do was rotate tires. I waited the month from scheduling to the appointment, took it into Tesla service, and they refused to do a tire rotation since it was "not needed".

Had to replace rear tires at 7500 miles on AWD. Forgot to rotate. Would definitely recommend rotating at 5,000. It’s possible 3 months of road construction near my house contributed to wear. But there was definitely not even wear.

Lots of traffic though... Looking to move West when this job is done.

Going from memory, I think my 1st rotation at ~6500 miles, my tires were at 6, 7, 8 and 9/32. 6/7 on the rear, 8/9 on the front. Spare subbed in for the 6/32 and the rear got the 9/32 and 11/32 (new spare), while the front got 7, 8/32. I'm a big fan of having a matching spare to work into rotation, because it usually saves you from having to buy 2 new tires if you need an unexpected replacement. It's still best practice to keep tires on the same axle within 3/32nds of each other and having the spare gives you more options to deploy a single new tire without the unnecessary replacement of a second.

Same same. I use this completely effortless vevor electric jack.
Once it’s up high enough I slide the jack stand under the support point.

Isn't the jack covering the support point?

Ok I’m confused. There is a jacking point AND a support point? I always thought they were the same.

I’ll be the odd man out. I don’t typically rotate tires on any of my cars cause I usually don’t experience a massive difference between them. In the CT, currently at 8.7k miles and all 4 tires are between 8-9/32 with a very slight wear bias to the rear; not enough to bother rotating them.

Yes, they both exist.

And rotating should be done, every vehicle will be different and on my 23 MY I neglected and paid for it with my rears worn more than the fronts. These are heavy vehicles so I think it is beneficial in the long run.

Discount tire will do rotation for free.

Can confirm with what others have said. AWD here with 5,163 miles on KO3s with mostly long road trips making up those miles, 75-85 mph, and the rear wear faster for sure. Will rotate them before our next (soon) ~6,500 road trip.
