better bungies sized to reach across the bed and/or diagonally across the bed to the D rings and/or from the vault divider (mounted mid-bed adjacent to OEM spare) to retaining points near the tailgate. the off the shelf kits have too may bungies that are too short and not enough longer ones.

Definitely what @carsly said about the water ingress, but in addition, here are a few others.

1) I use my truck for tools and random items, and have a bed mat to protect the floor, but the sides, back wall, and tailgate all scratch so easily or have random color marks that rub off.

2) The bed mat I have does have cutouts for the floor D-Rings, but I haven't cut them because dirt, mud, and debris will find their way into the depths, and I don't want to see that build up. So I don't use my D-rings.

3) I use the Summglers Bay almost every day, but it's a pain when I have tools in the bed. I either need to move them out of the way or keep them all the way to the back to allow access. Not a big deal, just annoying. I have a bed divider that I use, but having to climb into the truck each time is a first problem.

4) I sometimes use long ladders or long pieces of lumber that hang over the edge of the tailgate when it's up and close the tonneau cover to pinch it in place, but the top of the tailgate is plastic and can be damaged easily. I've seen the "protectors" on Amazon to cap the tailgate, but they all look so cheap.

I have owned and regularly drove a ICE pickup truck for decades. The most annoyingpart of my 2024 foundation cyberbeast truck bed is reaching over the side of the bed behind the cab. For vertically challenged people like me it is hard to reach into the bed. Those 30X SS edges will get ya!

I keep my ratchet straps on the side Molle panels. Use to keep them in the smugglers Bay, but found myself having to downgrade my load to get them.

I would like a step that folds down when the tailgate is open. It could work like a manual travel trailer step except upside down when stowed on on the back of the tailgate. So, you open the tail gate and a very sturdy step can be brought down with one hand so that you can easily step in the bed. It should be a bolt-on product, aluminum and very sturdy with no give at all. It should easily remain locked and folded nearly flat when stowed (upside down on the inside of the tailgate). Also, the step should not be visible at all if the tailgate is up.

Using the D-rings is the bane of my existence... So hard to flip them up. I've had to go get my SOG to pull them up.

2nd would be keeping straps in the smuggler's bay. But, that's on me for forgetting to get them out before loading the bed.

Lastly, There's just not a good way to secure longer boards when you want the tailgate closed. I've had need of, say, 4 2"x4"x10' boards and also some lighter items that needed to be under a closed tonneau. I, like many others, just close the tonneau on the boards a bit. But, that seems to be bad for the rubber and tailgate corner.
PLUS, there's no good way to secure loads to the tailgate itself. If I'm just hauling a sheet or two of plywood, the lower attach points aren't quite low enough to get down to the wood. And, I've already mentioned the D-rings.

Other than those two minor irritations, the CT is about as accessible as my last F-150.

Sure, we like to complain about reaching into the bed but when was the last time you tried reaching into the bed of a regular 4x4 truck? It taint easy...

Tie downs on top of the rails. When the bed is completely full the rails are covered and I can't get to them to attach a strap. Hauling lumber had actually been pretty easy for me. I've had anywhere from 10 studs in the back to 20 sheets of 5/8 osb. The bed cover will hold a small load well enough that I don't have to strap it. Otherwise the books at the bottom on the sides are more than enough to hold them in place.

Although not as bad once at entry height, it sure is a PITA to climb into the bed when tailgate down. I’ve gotten pretty used to auto makers adding little features that at least give some type of advantage to climbing into truck bed, be it a step molded into bumper or even little drop steps.

Climbing into Cybertruck with tailgate down always feels more awkward than it should.

When hauling long boards with the tailgate closed, I have trouble getting the tonneau exactly where I want it. Quick press is open or close all the way and long press is “only go until I release” but that’s problematic when you want it an inch or two from where it is.
