What do you guys use to make the wheel covers nice and dark black again?
Mine look faded as soon as they dry from a car wash

do you guys apply tire shine on the wheel covers?

thanks!!

I'd use ArmorAll Outlast. It really makes greyed out black plastic black again and seems to last a good while. To be fair, I haven't used it on my wheel covers as they are still in their protective plastic/cardboard.

I used the wheel covers for a couple of months and then went to the hub covers Tesla sent out about the same time. The covers just weren’t worth the hassles for my use cases.

Center caps are the way to go I think. If the covers allowed valve stem access they might be usable. But you have three different pressures to adjust to for normal driving, off-roading, and towing and having to remove and reinstall covers each time is annoying.

I removed mine due to some rubber coming off one of them, might be from me jumping curbs. Just center caps now. Looks better IMO although I’m at 390/kwh now vs 386 before

I’ll keep my wheel covers forever they look flat awesome in my
Opinion

Will try tire cleaner since they are made of rubber

Probably won’t last long but even a few days to a week for the visual would be alright

You might give this product a try-sold at Walmart; it’s cheap and does a good job.

Here are the results:
1st picture just as my wheel covers was, hadn't been washed in a few days
2nd picture sprayed it on
3rd picture after letting it sit for 5 minutes I buffed it dry wirh a microfiber towel.

Looks good, will see if it lasts!

Have used this for years. The best tire and plastic dressing I've ever used. It dries slick with zero oily residue and lasts for months.
