Hey everybody. Long time lurker here.

Just picked up a new 2025 AWD cybertruck last night. Got the red screen of death this morning with the critical error message. Currently in the shop. Anybody else had this issue recently and what the result was?

No. Never. Sorry you’re going through it.

Initially there were a bunch of bad inverters. Though any system critical failure will throw that “RSoD”. More recent builds have been having subtle to major issues with the Power Conversion System (PCS).

need the error codes to diagnose, you can go into service mode and pull or get current faults, but if it's in the shop I'm sure they are way ahead of you

They just let me know they are waiting on a part. They believe it is the front steering actuator that caused the issue.

That sucks. So disappointing to have that happen right after you pick it up. Hopefully it will be problem free for a long time after this—best truck in history! (Warts and all)

Update. The steering wheel issue is not resolved. It seems that the technicians could not figure it out so it has been escalated to higher ups.
