What kind of property do you live in? What kind of approvals are they talking about…I would think most places would need to pull a permit.

Interesting and nice.

I've got a 60kW generator to do the heavy lifting, but I've got a couple of circuits that I'd rather have on continuous power and not subject to the 30 second generator cranking delay.

It will be interesting if I get the letter.

OMG, no excuse not to do any serious road tripping.

I would be very interested in what additional approvals would be needed. Have you called The Tesla Team to understand better. I also have taken the survey 3-4 weeks ago and have not heard anything more.

Doesn’t saint fair at all. And how did they determine it’s not eligible. If they were offering up to 4k for installation, I’m sure that includes a bigger breaker box (if needed), permits, and labor.
I’d get a full detailed explanation of what approvals and what makes it ineligible.
Makes sense if you live in an apartment and don’t have the main breaker box, but if so they should give you something close to the credit.

If I understand my order, the power wall is only for the Cyberbeast not for the dual motor Foundation? Correct me if I’m wrong.

That is not remotely fair. At very least Tesla should provide the choice to get the PowerShare hardware for free.
I think they are only doing the newer ones that install in the meter itself and currently only available in a few states. The old way had a sub panel and acceptable by most states.
