One of the first things I learned along with a jack from my dad and grandpa how they work mechanically. I was a little kid. Very useful, and always in my canvas oh shit bag as I call it.

Thanks fro sharing @HaulingAss

A snow melting extract mode would be pretty cool....or hot!
Assuming 100% efficiency, it would take more than a fully charged 123 kWh battery to turn 2 tons of ice into water. Even then, all that water might just make a bigger mess downhill!

Shared this before... Regular 13k 12V winch with two Nissan Leaf lithium-ion modules as the power source. Winch is on the hitch receiver mount, but it can be rigged to the recovery hooks on the front as well using lifting straps or similar. Synthetic rope makes it relatively light to move around. Total cost of the build was about $400.

Ok.. not to hijack your thread! Searching for a come-along to add to my gear and I came across this. What do you think, would this have pulled you out? I like that it’s small and I can toss it in the smugglers bay with an extension cord, then plug it into one of the bed outlets when I need it.

Would be nice if there was a higher-rated version that ran off the CT 240 outlet.

May ask what kind of tires did you have on?
They are the Goodyear Territory RT's that Tesla sells as winter tires.

I've used both kinds of All-Terrain tires Tesla sells for the Cybertruck in this type of melting snowpack and, the truth of the matter is, the deeper lugs of the RT's offer very little advantage (in this kind of snowpack) because the snow (thousands of little round ice balls) has minimal shear strength for the deeper lugs to take advantage of. Almost all the traction comes from the friction of the rubber pressing down on the snow. And the regular AT tire has more tread area and less void.

To add this is the winch:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBDXT1KL?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1
it was $326 on sale when I ordered.

No link for the exact cradle mount, but there is a bunch of them on Amazon as well:
https://www.amazon.com/ECOTRIC-Mounting-Capacity-Recovery-Warranty/dp/B01KCHE43O/

They may have different bolt holes, so need to double check that the particular variant matches the pattern on the winch.

Probably should just burn it…. It has had enough abuse. Put it out of its misery

My 92 corolla has gone through deeper snow than that

/s
I'm not joking when I say my 2018 Model 3 Performance has navigated over deeper snowpack than that, on the same type of steep and twisty unsurfaced roads, 15 miles into the backcountry, in late January.

A few years back there was a warming spell in January with multiple warm rains all the way to over 10,000 feet. The snowpack became water saturated, followed by freezing solid after a very cold arctic front brought a couple of weeks of clear sunny weather and very low temperatures. The three feet of remaining snowpack did not freeze into glossy ice, it had a minimal dusting of snow bonded to the surface layer that the Winter Pirellis on my M3P had great traction on. It made the road as hard as pavement, and smoother than it was in July, and the MP3 with it's 5.25 inches of ground clearance drove easily to the trailhead at the top on a cold and clear January day, the same trailhead that is usually buried under 10-25 feet of snowpack every winter. I didn't see a single person the entire trip.

It seems like your intentions here are questionable.
