Loving mine. Strangely good on snow covered roads. Liking the fact I don't have to feel the fear of gripping the squrkle. I say as I compare this to an S with snow tires. I really don't get how it does it in the snow so good. Nokian Outposts, but really good judgement in distances on...
I would suggest people go into the service menu proactively and screenshot any issues with over temp and the PCS area.
My recent service visit they tried to not address it. It is going back next week.
Example I had an ABS error that said pullover and try again BS. I screenshot the error...
Much agreed. Hey I wanted a Boligner truck. I do think the industry is at a level with motors and batteries that it is becoming easier to figure out the whole EV thing. As in most things in life a consumer is the final arbiter of the purchase.
American consumers care much about room and...
Yep. I am an EV nerd. Can buy anything I want in life, which means I should buy whatever I want.
Some want no extras at all. Just a truck with a small bed and a steering wheel. Don't want a gasser.
I am sure some thought the same about a niche Tuk Tuk, and they exist in the tens of millions.
Having been in one. I did order one, and will take delivery. I would expect people in a CT forum to not think the Slate is them or needed. That is why they bought a CT.
My use case is kind of different. Very small town. Will allow us to keep a car there all the time. Having Tesla's...
I think what @Mini2nut was getting at was this PCS was supposed to be a better one with greater redundancies than past PCS's. Yes there are revisions. Those revisions aren't always improvements to quality as consumers always think.
I would say they aren't. Many PCS's from other Tesla's have...
I was early in on the Slate. I thought the same thing. Yet sometimes it fills a niche. If it gets more people to explore 70-80% electric for the first time awesome. Maybe by the next time it will be a 100% EV for the needs they are after. Tech and realization that EV's do most of the what...
Only thing worse than a cold soaked CT is a cold soaked Chevy Silverado EV.
I will say that smaller batteries tend to warm and use the amount quicker and charge faster. Big packs not so much.
This has been a known issue for many years on many models. My 3 limps on charging as it has a partial PCS failure. S had a failure. Other than the battery, this(PCS) and the charge port take quite a bit of use. Shame Tesla can't figure something like this.
For example my S has had 4118...
You must have missed the capex spend. This is about the future. Not some wimpy bottom line now. Tesla isn't trying to compete against legacy auto any longer. Those are thoughts of yesteryear.
An updated version of the Roadster sports car, Tesla’s first-ever vehicle, will be its last traditional vehicle. All other new Teslas will be autonomous vehicles, Musk said.
Yep. It should be evident that if it doesn't sell it has an endpoint. Nothing is a sacred cow.
Also likely no hardware 4.5, and no 5.0 for those as they fade away.
Everyone wants a subscription to add. It is the best crack to sell to investors. Recurring revenue on a subscription basis that can show stickiness.
Once people take the hit they likely don't stop. I don't like that model. Look at all the finance apps telling people how much they spend on...
