home charging means more range isnt needed, people will learn that once they get an EV or are educated by EV owners. if another company does offer an EV with 600 miles of range and they buy it they will soon realize they dont need that much range

Many people on this forum who own CT's want more range. Home charging doesn't help on long trips, especially in the winter.

thats what supercharging is for, and long trips are pretty infrequent in the grand scheme of things.

Not bad. I’m surprised Tesla doesn’t have a real SUV at this point. I think a Tesla Tahoe-sized vehicle that seats 7 and has a ton of cargo space and 400 miles or more of range would be a great seller.

I think Tesla will slowly move out of the Automobile market as robots/Automation build. They basically canceled the Model 2. There are some new variants on existing platforms coming this year, but I don't see many more big launches coming in the future, nor do I think they will ever pack that many batteries in a vehicle with Elon at the helm.

Edit: Elon did say the stalks weren't coming back and they brought back the turn signal, so maybe there can be a change. The M3 Highland hasn't performed that well and many say it's because of the lack of stalks.

Model 2 is the Robo Taxi look for it later this year.

Yep i really believe also that they already unveiled the Model 2 a.k.a. robotaxi ... sell a version with wheel and pedals

without steer by wire, I cant do it. The difference is too much. Happy with the CT until that tech start migrating to other Teslas!

some people just want more of everything, but dont need it ... youll never make anyone happy, do i want to make more money ? sure do i NEED to make more money ? probbally not

Such a vehicle would be antithetical to the way Tesla thinks about mobility and transportation. The only thing in this space is the RoboVan.

More range is better. Don't pretend you wouldn't take more range if the price were the same.

Not if you believe Elon. They have no plans to make the RT with a wheel and pedals.
