99% thumbs up here in Tennessee!
What part, I’m from Memphis originally? Never mind I just saw Knoxville. Have you taken it down to Memphis or over to Nashville yet?

California....Silicon Valley, there are a lot of CT here, I would say 70/30......70 positive. And the comment above is so true.....kids 100% thumbs up!! I have driven past two active protests in the last few weeks so maybe my sample size is skewed.

When I first got my truck (back in may) it was overwhelmingly positive or just curiosity. Dislike was rare but did happen occasionally. Usually just head shaking or negative gestures. Now I get flipped off, spit at, yelled at, shit thrown at me, etc most (not most, but very often) of the time I drive it. Luckily I haven't gotten into a fight yet or had my truck vandalized. I take the back streets when I can and try to find an inconspicuous place to park. I hide my truck at work underneath a security camera where it's camouflaged with the dumpsters. I had one scare where a guy tailgated me all of the way to my mom's house. I didn't pull in but kept driving so the guy wouldn't mess with my mom and finally pulled over. He rolled down his window and yelled something negative at me but couldn't make it out. I took a dash cam clip and later tried to analyze it to see if I could get his plate but the resolution was too grainy.

I'm pretty sure that 99% of the haters out there have never driven (or even ridden) in one before and I'm sure that they'd change their tune if they had a chance to experience what an amazing, technological marvel that it is.

I love my truck. This will all come to pass and when people start realizing what we all know (minus some kinks from developing a vehicle designed from the ground up (BTW I've never been back to the service center)), people will love it too. It has it's place. It's not a perfect fit for everyone.

On an aside; I think the "haters" and dumb asses out there that are causing all of this attention towards our trucks are going to make it legendary some day. I own a piece of history now.

Anyway, I live in mid Michigan.

I'm gonna start giving the finger to other CTs. Could be our "wave".

Side note, i got "ducked" yesterday.... No idea who. I had seen them before but had to google it lol... as a dude i felt weird sporting it so i gave it to a kid.
Dude... thats a huge compliment. Us Jeepers do it. If you get "ducked" it means someone likes your ride. The key isn't to sport it... but pass the duck along to someone else's ride.. like perhaps another CT. ;)

NE Massachusetts here. 80-90% middle fingers or thumbs down, 10-20% thumbs up. Most people don't do either. Most kids seem to love it.

It's obvious to me that it's politically based. Unfortunately for me, the assumption is that I like our president because I drive it . I know someone around here got a FS a year ago and recently sold it because of all of the hate since January. It's too bad.

Could you guys just at least add the state you live in? because I’ve had this CYBERTRUCK for three months I’ve had about a dozen interactions all super positive✅. Everybody wants to know about it. I think it’s cool. Never get the finger. Never get people yelling anything, ever! I’m on the coast of New Jersey Monmouth County and reading the comments is like Reading some foreign news. Where do you guys live???? What the hell is the town like that you live in? Sheesh
I totally agree, everyone should have the general area they live in their sidebar profile. It helps provide greater understanding when someone says their wiper doesn't work very well and they live in Arizona and someone else says their wiper works great and they live in Western Washington. Or you wonder why someone has winter efficiency of 585 Wh/mile and you see they live in Alberta.

The ignorant and irrational Cybertruck hate does appear to ooze and seethe from areas with a lot of far left woke people. People who believe in the intent of our founding fathers, limited government, the Constitutional division of power between the three branches of government, First Amendment rights of free speech and a fiscally responsible federal government tend to be cheering on the work of Elon and DOGE.

Participants should disclose where they live. They don't need to dox themselves as to the small town they live in, but it would be helpful to know the general area they live.

I know I take people more seriously when I can see where they hail from.

From Silicon Valley California. When I first bought it in June, everyone was intrigued. Now there are hundreds of them here; 4 at my place of work. Dashcam still captures, people inspecting it with curiosity. A month I got a finger but I was happy … damn someone noticed my CT. ? IMO online media promoted by FB, Yahoos is making a big deal out of it by repeating these stories. Scaring away potential buyers, and generating unnecessary concern.

Maryland has been mixed.
Virginia is pretty mixed.
DC has been mostly negative.
Georgia has been mixed.
Southern Oregon has been more positive.
Chicago was pretty positive (very early on).

In all reality 70%+ of the people out there don't care and don't really notice anyway. Lets face it 50% of the drivers don't even know there are other cars out there...

I've had it pretty mixed 50/50 of the people that actually pay attention.
Kids have been about 50%/20% positive/negative (the rest don't care).
I get thumbs down, fingers, and revved engines from people driving by my house. I've had quite a few people stop in the road and take pictures. Some people have stopped and we've talked about it. The school bus that drives by has a kid that likes to stick his head out the window and yell "cybertrucks suck!".

I've gotten together with the local fire department multiple times to show and tell them about truck, they appreciated it.
I stopped by the local police station and they had tertiary interest but didn't really care.
At local events (halloween, car shows, etc) its been mostly positive people coming up (others probably just stay away and I get looks from a distance).
The tesla light show events have all been really positive (LoL).

The off-road community has been very standoff, nothing like when I wheeled my JF60. I'm finally going with a few guys tomorrow so I can report back on their opinions.

My area of Orlando has a lot of high end cars and trucks so I think the area that you drive in has a lot to do with it. No one cares at all here. I see 2-3 Cybertrucks a day. EV Hummers, Lucid, Rivian, etc. Of course tons of Model 3 and Model Y. Have never seen a bird here. I did get them when I was in less desirable areas near places like Wal Mart. And it was all gas trucks that were doing it.

The upstairs windows of the local Fire Department overlook a cash machine I use sometimes. I was withdrawing cash when two of the younger firemen must have seen me through the window and they rushed down to get a look at my Cybertruck. They were super polite when they excitedly explained they wouldn't mind a closer look. I showed them where the high voltage disconnect orange flag was for first responders under the Frunk hood, how to open the frunk, I showed them the mechanical door releases inside the front and rear doors too.

We had a fun and interesting discussion for 10 or 15 minutes, they wanted to know all about it and were just in awe of all the features I showed them. When I told them I had to get going, they thanked me profusely for being so generous and giving them the "Cybertruck tour".

Even today I'm still amazed at how many people basically know little to nothing about the Cybertruck.

LA here, no negative interaction at all before Trump took office, hundreds of positive interactions since delivery last March. And now it's 50/50, lots of haters. Glad I voted for the right person, since all these lunatics are triggered.
