Elons been real quiet while he still feels the cybertruck is amazing
time will tell
Yep, very quiet. So much that there were CyberMonday deals on just about everything outside of Tesla yesterday, all but the Cybertruck. Would be a good time for end of year liquidation on CT.

I tweeted Elon that I'm a long T$LA holder, bought 6 Tesla and have early Cybertruck reservation-waiting for smaller Cybertruck. So, new assembly line for smaller CT production.:D

I'm worried it's going to be something negative that impacts my order.... been on the fence for so long, finally pulled the trigger on Wednesday since I saw 2.49% was going away..

I swear if I sat on the fence about buying this thing for two years and it gets discontinued right when I order, I'm going to spite buy a Rivian.

It's not getting discontinued.

They are likely shifting resources away from the CT line to other projects in Austin like the Cybercab.

I don't know exactly what is going on. But it may not be something new. Over the past year, the production of "expensive" Teslas (Model S, Model X, Cybertruck) has been falling consistently, quarter after quarter.

Tesla doesn't break out the production by model, but they do provide quarterly production totals for the S/X/CT combined. The S/X/CT are listed as "Other Models" in the Production & Delivery Press Releases here. For the past several quarters, combined S/X/CT production looks like this:

3Q 2024: 26,128
4Q 2024: 22,727
1Q 2025: 17,161
2Q 2025: 13,409
3Q 2025: 11,624 (so down 55% from 3Q 2024)

We should get the 4Q 2025 number in about a month, on January 2, 2025. It wouldn't shock me if the number falls again.
It could very well go up this particular quarter, but the number will be a little misleading. They sold A LOT of CTs to SpaceX and xAI.

You could, but then you would be unhappy: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/...cant-recommend-the-r1s-for-most-people.53261/

Just placed an order last night for the Cyberbeast. 8-10 weeks lead time.
I don’t mind the wait if they have something new for a 2026 build.
Also was told the light bar is not available as it is getting revamped.

I sure hope they sneak a deal in before year end! I'm hoping for a Beast Luxe for $99!! I'd take a cheap lease dela on an AWD as well, but since there are virtually no AWDs left in inventory, that seems unlikley.

Not necessarily. Typically yes, the fourth quarter of the year is Tesla's biggest sales period, and so Tesla commonly offers attractive 4Q incentives. But this year, there were record-breaking sales in the third quarter, largely due to the expiration of the EV tax credit in the US.

So Tesla already liquidated a lot of inventory in 3Q 2025, especially credit-eligible models like the AWD CT. And it seems like the inventory of AWDs remains low as of 4Q 2025.
