Cybertruck nails the exterior design and software experience, but some interior systems still feel like early-stage hardware.

One area that keeps coming up in discussions is power management inside the cabin.

Common friction points:

  • No native 110V outlet in the center console
  • Multiple devices competing for limited USB power
  • External inverters breaking the clean, modular interior concept
  • Cable clutter that doesn’t match a vehicle this advanced

Recently came across a center console power module that approaches this as a system upgrade, not just an accessory.

From a tech perspective, it makes sense:

  • Integrated 110V AC outlet + USB ports in a single console unit
  • Eliminates the need for external inverters or adapters
  • OEM-style fit that respects Cybertruck’s geometric interior design
  • Subtle ambient lighting that syncs with the cabin instead of standing out

This kind of setup aligns well with how Cybertruck is actually used:

  • Mobile workstations
  • Starlink Mini and other edge devices
  • Long-distance travel and off-grid scenarios
  • Owners who treat the truck as a rolling power platform

Not a flashy mod — more of a functional layer that probably should have existed from the factory.

For owners thinking in terms of systems, efficiency, and clean integration, this is the direction interior upgrades should go.

Agreed this works well for powering phones, tablets, laptops, starlink (if on dash), etc. but doesn't solve the issue of power for video rear view mirrors, LED dash light strips, front bumper LED light bars, and 2 video displays in front of the steering wheel all wanting a power source.

This was so close to looking factory, then I saw the cheesy stars on the top, what is that about?

It looks messy and cord-y. We can do better than this…
I have this and it’s great (non-star version). It only has one source power cord that you never see and 2 retractable power cords that I normally keep retracted. My only complaint is it doesn’t fit with my console organizer tray so taking out the tray is a pain. I keep meaning to trim it.

I've had this installed since last May (the non-star version, looks cleaner), but I only paid $149 for it on Amazon. It does look factory and it fits cleanly with my console organizer that has 4 more USB ports on it. I'll take some pics in a bit.

Yes, we have a review from a blogger, and we'll post it soon.

Thanks Tes Studio for making this unit. I just purchased one to test out.

The lack of power ports up front has always been my pet peeve with the truck. I wish that Tesla had some factory power ports above the light that points down to the center console.

If anyone like Tes Studio is listening, power for a Valentine1 (and other makes) Radar detector somewhere around the vestigal rear view mirror would be sweet. Along with power for a streaming rear view mirror. USB-C power near the center screen is a screaming need. Not to mention the grossly overlooked legacy mobile power standard: the 12V cigarette lighter outlet.

Can't believe no one has produced a legit HUD for the CT. That flat surface demands data! ;)

Thank you for your feedback; I will pass it on to the R&D department. The next generation might be just as you described.
