I actually had my serviced right after I picked it up last November. The driver side cantrial was mounted crooked to the front fender.

Why would I do this if there was no issues, plus my truck is wrapped and the new rails would be a PIA to just have them wrapped!

I also was hesitant since mine were still firmly in place after 16 months of ownership. But since it was recalled for safety on my May 2024 build I went ahead and did it last week because I felt I would have possibly additional significant liability and responsibility for causing an accident or injury if they came off while driving if I ignored the recall. I spoke to the service center about my concern for a good job and making sure they were well aligned. I am very glad I did it. They did a fantastic job on installing the new ones. Good alignment and no noticeable stud bump or discoloration where it is attached. Absolutely no noticeable difference from the original ones. Now I don't need to worry about it anymore.
I also decided to get it done because I didn't want to worry about it, but the bump IS visible on my repair :( They didn't even tell me it was a possibility.

I just got the Tesla mail regarding the recall but mine are on pretty well and I'm just a little hesitant to have them touched. Anyone else in same boat?
Our service center said we didn’t need to do it. Glad because it’s wrapped.

I have a wrap so I’m not gonna get it done unless one comes off.

I’m not exactly holding off, but they aren’t loose and I don’t have any other issues. So I would need to take an entire day off of work, drive about 2.5 hours to the nearest service center, wait for the fix, then drive back home. Paying for supercharging and meals. I’ll take care of it eventually for sure, but my cantrails are solid. I check them every now and then just in case. If I have other issues that need a service appointment I’ll get them done. Until then I will keep checking in case they decide to start loosening up some day.
