It’s been -7 degrees three nights and 20” of snow and I don’t have a garage. FSCB has been great in the snow and sleet and cold for me. Almost 1 & 1/2 years and all I’ve had to do is rotate the tires so I could be happier. Amazing to walk out from 68 degree house for 11-15 steps and get into a 70 degree cyber beast and tell it where to go and it takes me there!
two inches of ice on the wiper, every 20-30 minutes.

I get you, mine is a year and a half, and this past weekend I got stuck without being able to use the truck, on top of that, not sure what the warranty is for. They gave me a quote of 2k

I see it slightly different.

Having a Cybertruck has helped me identify the unstable people in the area. It's a portable moron detector.
If that's the case, then great!

I have no unstable people in my area!

Well, I'm coming up on 2 years also but I'm going to have a different response this truck cannot be driven in cold weather The wiper is absolutely f****** useless. The PCS should not have went bad.
Did you warranty or replace your wiper blade? I had the screen go out on me in a major storm and the wiper was starting to crap out and I swing by a SC and they threw on a new wiper. I ended up getting a buy back on my vehicle after 53k miles but the wiper was never really an issue after I got it replaced with the 2nd gen wiper and I drove in a lot of winter weather.

There is a dedicated defroster for the wiper:

I cannot vouch for its effectiveness, since today is the first time my truck has seen snow and I’m not crazy enough to drive in these conditions.

You’re missing out then. Baja mode, traction control min, slide the bias to the rear = donut mode unlocked. Just don’t blame me for what happens to your tires

I suspect the issue is simply a very low rate of people with EDS (Elon Derangement Syndrome) in the Gainesville area, and you simply haven't encountered the few that exist yet. Or, perhaps they are such a rare breed that they don't feel like broadcasting their illness to everyone around. 🤪

One single BAW is going to absolutely require special techniques, and it is not surprising at all that people would have differing opinions and experiences with its use in icy and snowy conditions.

Just learned something new! I wondered what that control did. Thanks, @CyberGus!

It's on this page of the manual:

https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-CFA216A5-F2CC-416F-97E8-8560E0CC4161.html

Grok sez:
This feature activates heating elements embedded in the windshield glass, specifically in the area where the wiper blades rest (near the base of the windshield along the cowl/A-pillar area). Its main purpose is to melt or thaw any ice, snow, or frost that's frozen the wiper blades to the glass, preventing them from being stuck or damaged when you try to use them in cold, icy conditions.

And, just came across this video, which is relevant:

In the video he says he sees nothing on the mirrors, that's because inferred cameras only the heated reflected in the mirror. Its kind of like trying to get video of the color of a mirror, but with wavelengths only a FLIR camera can see.
