Weird thing. Driving back to Phoenix from Bisbee yesterday, my wife was doing her crossword in the passenger seat as the sun set. At some point her overhead dome light came on. She thought I did it and absently said "thank you" without looking up. After some discussion, we realized it just turned on. We could still turn it on and off with a tap but were speculating that the cabin camera recognized her activity as needing light and turned it on for her.
I found some cases reported where it would turn on randomly but this is the first time it has turned on by itself for me and seems very coincidental to coincide with the diminishing sunlight.
Owners manual says "Cybertruck has convenience lights that automatically turn on and off based on what you are doing" but doesn't say anything about specific activities of passengers while driving. Anyone else experience something like this?
