The Grok nav integration is great. I hope they eventually use that for saved routes somehow.

Turning off the phone charger is also nice since it just cooks the phone.

I know this is rolling out but normally there are a bunch of people that acknowledge getting the update. I haven’t gotten this one yet and I was curious if many had. Anybody get this yet?

This grok assist for navigation is UGE! Soon the missing "speed wheel" will be replaced by "hey Grok, slow down to 60 here". Would love to have X loaded on the screen ... addicted to X.

Yup, the 2 features at the top of my list. I use Apple Magsafe chargers off a USB-C charge block in my console and I can't lay the phone in the cradle without it overheating because of the built in chargers. Finally I can turn them off.

I received my iPhone Tesla app update very early this morning. This is needed before the CB Christmas update (which will be 2025.44..25+ according to the update).

We (well mostly we) are on vehicle software (2025.38.9.6), which provided my CB to get FSD 14.2.1. Does this imply that the two branches 2025.44 and 2025.38 will finally merge?

About time the Tron lock sound was added.
so no CarPlay? WTF how hard is it to do? 🤣
I was hoping the holiday update would have CarPlay. Also not hard to do(probably not trivial) but there is a 100% chance that there is an internal version with the working. It’s just getting the proper rights and payments to apple. And after seeing Engineering Explained issues with CarPlay on his Lucid Air, Tesla will want to make sure they don’t have those issues. Watch that video if you get a chance. Makes me really happy on my CT choice.

Like crowdsourced speed limit information.
Doesn’t need to be crowd sourced. Just when it gets a high confidence reading, it could update it its self. But it could also auto mark speed traps. It was supposed to be able to do this Ike Waze, but it could track itself.

I mean I have a bunch of the cheap $40 CarPlay screen. They’re everywhere. Never a glitch. Seems like cake to Tesla.

I'm not sure why, but that comment had me in virtual stitches!

I guess it's like the old-timers always say, "Hope springs eternal" (even when there shouldn't be even a glimmer).

I'm hoping CarPlay dies a slow death, right alongside legacy auto.

But won't it be around longer if it dies a slow death? 😜

CarPlay and Android audio are the best thing to happen to the auto industry since inflatable tires. Car manufacturers should not be making car entertainment software. (Tesla and ReIvan are software companies that make cars).
What CarPlay has that Cybertruck lacks:
Ability to open garage doors without a subscription.
Better hands free texting options.
Waze
ABRP
Offroad/Trail maps
Better music navigation
Better music quality(from your phone)
Use of multiple mapping apps(with the ability to send locations to the Tesla, to let it handle navigation.
AndroidAuto also having those same options.

yeah.....you know this is just the first step toward fully integrated Grok Vehicle Management. Windows up, climate down, open frunk, etc etc. It is coming and all the haters for the spartan interior are going to realize you don't need any of that crap
