I hate the rain

I try not leave the house if it’s going to rain or after a rain . Keeping the water spots off is such asss. Every time it rains i have to fully wash the truck and windex it . My son’s mom needs to goto the dr this afternoon and she will just usually take the truck. I’ve had to write and rewrite the text three times because I feel retarded saying. I’d rather her not because of the rain lol

Ok something to think about,
I bought this really cool truck and it is manly, tough, and is the future but honey, don’t get it wet! Oh please wash it when you get back!
If that goes down you may come to know what a Prius feels like!

I have washed the truck maybe 3 times this year? Only when I get it truly filthy or after the snow storms we had earlier in the year to get the salt off. I have come to prefer it a bit dirty tbh. Used to keep it 'spotless' when I first got it, but have grown to embrace the grime

I agree, I was raised in an area where the condition of your vehicle is a direct reflection on you as an individual. I wash my vehicles more than anyone else I know. Wrap your truck, PPF, so easy to clean after a rain. Just quick wipe down most of the time. Don’t even need to get out the hose.

I've only washed mine once, and that was to get the salt off after the snow cleared.

There's mud on the tires and in inside the wheel wells, and finger smudges on all the doors. It's a stainless steel truck. It looks awesome.

Feel your pain. At least you don’t have to take it into construction sites. I hate the sound of mud flying off the wheels and pounding the side of my truck. The project that brought that to mind was a mud pit. Even though the site required an onsite “car wash” aka spray down due to the amount of mud, you’d roll off the mat and still pickup mud between there and the road. For that particular project I was just running my truck through the touchless car wash about twice a week.

I know that’s an extreme example, but I also get annoyed by having a dirty truck. Getting ceramic coating goes a long way to keep a vehicle clean for longer periods of time.

I just run it through a touch less car wash after it’s done raining. I’ll also try to dry off the bumpers and tailgate if I have time so water spots don’t show up from air drying. After that, it’s pretty damn clean. Although, this has worked a lot better after doing a full bar keepers polish. That made a huge difference.
