Ha! I'm still waiting for a clear concise example of a couple of Elon's worst lies. Because the claim is he is a "liar". I'm sure everyone has told a lie or two, calling someone a "liar" means they do it a lot.

Yet I haven't seen one clear example of a single lie Elon told after reading this entire thread.

If it's true, where are all the lies? Because Elon is a pretty prolific communicator, there is a lot of material available, if he really is the liar some claim he is.

Wow, very politically fueled forum. i bought into the Tesla's early on and have been an avid proponent of the cars. convinced friends and family (successfully) to get a tesla as well. boiling it down to the product - the car itself - zero regrets, every other car feels like you are driving an acient horse carriage in comparison. i have been to china too, they are the only ones i feel are on par with the technology stack, BUT the quality is just not there, and this lacks from a fundamental understanding rather than copying things. am i happy that the residual value of my CT FSAWD has utterly tanked in the first year of ownership, absolutely! Do i feel cheated by Tesla, yes, BUT any profit oriented company would have been doing the same - if your (pre) order book is filled to the brim in a highly anticipated market segment you naturally gauge the ones that want the truck early on. every company does that - apple does it, ford does it, toyota does it. hey look at Ferrari, if you want to get one of their cars not only sky high above the list price, but also requiring you to own another ferrari before. I feel (attention: this is my personal opinion) that the people who are so upset with Elon Musk's political side kick that they sell their Tesla's and stock options, bought Tesla's because they were part of the influenced and hyped mass hysteria, and the product itself was not enough for them. Someone in here referrenced Ford's anti-semetic activities and the brand was not abandond and burned. i feel it is also weird that within the same company different products are overpromised and underdelivered (like the cybertruck price/range) versus others are underpromised and overdeliver (like the new model Y for example). This appears like a non-brand unified marketing, but more of a product line individualized marketing team/approach. overall i am very happy with the car, and i am right now in the fortunate situation that i do not need to liquidate our assets - planning on keeping the cybertruck for a long time....
