We stand with you, Elon.
We stand with ?.
We stand with Tesla.
We stand with the truth.
We stand with your mission.
We stand with you—always.
Cringe. I stand with the truth. Nothing else. My support of/for companies and strangers is always conditional.

Also, as a note, I never posted the Wall Street Journal or Reuters as a source. That’s a change that admin made for I believe direct attribution and and I don’t have any complaint with that, it’s just that I couldn’t even see the Wall Street Journal article and posted it from a source called investing.com. My original formulation captured below.

Just being clear that the WSJ was never my source for this post. The denials/objections came out just like I expected that they would if the story was not true. Now it’s up to the WSJ to explain themselves.

At this point, they should be investigating options. He is solely responsible for the current situation they’re in.

To say otherwise is to be in denial.

At least one board member had also come out hours ago stating that they did respond to the reporters request for information PRIOR to them releasing the article that is was COMPLETELY FALSE AND NEVER HAPPENED.

Someone is trying to seriously short and destroy TSLA and they should be prosecuted. TSLA should sue the WSJ.

The board apparently had a meeting with Elon to say he needs to be more active with Tesla, but the WSJ made the leap that they are actively searching for a new CEO. That's how most of these stories go. A source gives a rumor and the news makes a leap from there.

Reuters seems to have a really good source. They broke that the M2 was cancelled, the CT would be increased in price, the SC team would be fired, and most recently that the new lower cost models would be delayed a few months.

WSJ seems to always make a huge leap from whatever they recieve.

This is a complaint straight out of Elon‘s mouth. I’ve never agreed with it and it sounds like sour grapes from him. He’s a very petty man.

Innovations since Job’s death:

Apple Watch - just the best selling watch in the world.

Airpods - just the best selling headphones in the world.

Vision Pro - unparalleled even if people don’t know about it and it’s as well received generally as my Cybertruck but I have one of each and I can tell you all about either one and how awesome they are.

“Tim Apple” is no Jobs, but as he himself (Steve) said his greatest creation was actually Apple.

If Tesla only works because of one man, it’s not sustainable. That’s business 101.

*AND, in case you didn’t notice, everybody has been conceding that. Contrary to the idiom, “one monkey don’t stop no show.” This is a show that one monkey can, in fact, apparently stop.

Folks, that’s bad!!!
There's been many reports that Jobs both knew about the Apple Watch and wanted to invest in more wearable, including glasses.

The rest of what you said is true. I think the Vision Pro, Apple Home, and Apple Car were/are all failures, but Cook has made a lot of money. (Apple TV is struggling, losing 1 billion per year, but it does have some excellent shows).

We can agree to disagree about Vision Pro, but they've cut investment into it by 50% and it isnt selling. It is innovative.

I don’t think Tesla is established enough to not have a visionary as CEO. Much at the AI futures in RT, robots, etc. are still in infancy.

All of that said, Musk has absolutely damaged the brand. The European sales numbers that came in today are all down from Q1. Tesla selling cars looks like a rough road ahead.

I’m sure there is an element of truth to the story. However, EM is allegedly back at Tesla so all is good(?). I might say that the story became outdated. EM likes his job at Tesla.

Is it true? I don't know but I hope so. Founders rarely are the best people to move companies into maturity. Denholm is the most feckless of board chairs so what response she shares I would wouldn't trust at all.
I think it is time for Elon to move out and give Tesla a full time CEO. He is a nett negative.

Eh you'd be surprised to know that Steve Job's philosophies still carries on to this day. He really set the culture for their product design. I think it's the same about Elon.
Never like Jobs, He forced out the Woz who designed the Hardware for the Apple 2 product which was my first computer. I spent many years through college with my Apple. Being an Engineer and Ham Radio enthusiast love the hardware open design and easy to use documentation. Absolutely hated the MAC Computer, no open architecture, nothing you could change use it or lose it attitude from apple all Jobs doing. The World left Apple behind as far as computers from that point, Windows and IBM took over. Was Apple's biggest mistake. Yes that made it big with smart phones, definitely not computers. So Jobs influence was not all that great back then. and yes I am that old, I bought that Apple 2 Plus in 1979.

The board would have been entirely incompetent if members had not been having private off the record discussions about replacing Elon. Elon has clearly gone off the rails and has been unconcerned about taking the company with him. The board serves the company, not Elon, at least that's how it is supposed to be. I would be shocked if they hadn't been actively working on a secret Plan B to be triggered if Elon crossed some predetermined line in the sand. And denying it would be what I'd expect them to do, because admitting it would be admitting a problem and admitting a weakness...again, not in the best interests of the company.

I'm pretty sure they didn't crumple it up and toss it in the wastepaper bin just because Elon says everything is great. They know the difficult situation the company is in, better than anyone.

There are some on the board who serve the company, but as the Delaware court pointed out a majority of the board are close friends and family members of Elon Musk.
